Yeah, but they are undefeated with Boulton in the lineup! |

I'd rather have him in the lineup then Martin right now Much better skater then Martin |

Read that Islanders are talking to Oilers about Perron. Could that be Bailey's next home? |

I just always love the broad brush. Apparently ONLY Sabres fans are idiots cuz a few dumbasses troll here.
The angelic Isles fans (2 of whom are banned right now, btw - not by me) could never fall under such a broad brush. - stashu

Best part is getting PMs from them both, so apparently their time away isn't giving them more time to do other things. |

Hope so, Perron despite his injuries is a solid goal scorer when healthy.... |

this banning stuff is ridiculous bc I've seen convo's worth a ban but nothing happens and sometime meaningless convo's get a ban, utter stupidity.....
Even I got banned for nonsense and some (1 or 2) worthy but mostly not worthy |

Have to think we see some kind of deal when Bailey and Grabner return. |
|
|
|
great point... also everyone was moving their feet and working hard... if they lose games with the effort they displayed last night you can live with those..its the clunkers like Colorado that are the ones that are hard to stomach - Dan Petriw
When Bailey and Grabner come back I make the 4th line Bailey, Cizikas and Clutterbuck. Not a bad 4th line. |

I don't mind if either or both get traded, doesn't hurt if team can add on to improve. Team finally has depth at F. |

Imo, Strait is more of a liability than Donovan. May be less value as well. I'm ok with either of them going. |

Don't mind that. Cizikas needs to step his game up though. At least chip in a couple goals. |

I'd rather have Boulton play btn him and Martin and I'm not a Martin hater. He just hasn't been playing well. |

That was a good hockey game. That was the best game the Islanders played this year. Considering they played the night before and were playing against the Stanley cup champs. They looked like a well prepared team. Hopefully Cappy is over his love affair with the 4th line. The 4th line received appropriate ice time last night. I think Hickey is an underrated player. He does the small things that don't get noticed. He has good hockey sense. It's nice to see the goalies have three good games in the row. - dack1972
Hickey reminds me a lot of Freddy Myers who is a 6th or 7th dman on any NHL team. Smart player but lacking a few tools that would make him a stand out.
Hickey is small and gets tossed around and pushed off pucks too often. He also reminds me of a guy named MacDonald, who isn't a bad defensman, just not top pairing, as this team tried to utilize him and was asked to do too much.
I still saw too many scrambles in front of our net last night—I think Johnson stole the game in that respect—by not allowing his teammates to fill his crease and he stayed in position better than Halak has done. Also, the SOG comparison doesn't tell the whole story. We didn't test Quick as much with quality scoring chances nearly as much as LA did to CJ.
A win's a win and giving up an OT point on the road is just fine by me. Cappy lives to baffle us another day!

Strait has negative trade value. Even I would shake Snow's hand if this happened. Perron is no slouch |

Cizikas had one of his worst games but everyone else was solid. Was nice not to see the fourth line playing too much after the first period and the PK looked the best it has in two years. - Isles_since_6
I guess the benching didn't work then, huh? That play when he carried out in front of our net made me scream at the TV. That could have been the game. |

I just stay off the other team's boards, unless I have something nice to say about one of their players....that way, I don't have to get banned because someone else has diarrhea coming out of the wrong end. |
