I know we're not likely to win 5 in a row, but the next three games are winnable. If we beat ARI, COL, and FLA it gives us a little wiggle room through the rest of the month. - eichiefs9

I too, could not watch the game because of work, but it truly is astounding how they can no show against Colorado and then beat both the Ducks and Kings on consecutive nights. AND they kept their GA down?! WTF?! How does this happen?

It happens by the coach finally putting out lines that make sense and not giving 12 mins of ice time to fourth line plugs |

If this happened it would have been one of Garth's better moves. |

This was best team played by far in the season. I wasn't so excited after Anaheim win as we played a team missing top 2 stars and a 3rd string goalie.
In case of LA, LA played hard. We matched it and won the game.
if we could avoid the letdown game in Phoenix then it will be successful road trip.
Isles have amazing ability to play up and down to their opponents. |

Hoping they continue playing as they did last, for tomorrows game. I'm gonna be there, and want to see them smoke the puppy dogs. |

After that they took a nap, stroll on the beach, a little snack. Oh yeah, there's more than one period to play. Like Jack said, no team plays a full 60 minute game. |

they went toe to toe with two of the best teams in the league and carried the play for much of it..i also like how physical they were with the kings after the kings carried the play to start the game... they were phsical but also took hits to make the right plays . it wasn't perfect (4th line was bad) but its not going to be against two teams of that caliber. the spacing between the forwards and d was great. the kids line was awesome in their own end. goalies made the key saves. these were two games to really build off of, it proves they can play defense |

i actually agree with that...the whole they don't play 60 is crap. even when a team wins 7-0 their is still going to be points in a game where the other team carrys the play, it is how you counter that and how you deal with a surge is usually the difference between a win and a loss |

Youre talking about the kings game. There wasnt any kid line in the ducks game. Strome was our fourth line center and they were lucky to get any points let alone two on wed. They were on their heels for two periods. I see what youre saying though they won just didnt think it was one of their best games(ducks game). Going to watch last nights game when I get home after the way everyone is gushing about it. |

It proves they can, when Cappy puts out the lines that pretty much everyone in here has been suggesting for the last month, and everyone on the PK actually stays where they're supposed to, close down passing lanes, keeps them to the boards & clears the puck out of the zone. We all know this team is very capable, & could be dangerous in the right coaches hands. |

i was referring to the kings game... the ducks are a really good team even without perry and getzlaf and two points are two points. no the ducks game wasn't perfect but they were able to build off two points and carry it over |

i think this is correct and well said. i liked the lines last night, the only one that was a dumpster fire was our friends on the fourth. i was really impressed with the kids willingness to work in their own zone and go into the corners and win some battles. also the team moved their feet the entire night |

There's ebb & flow in every game. But when the majority of 2 periods are played in your own end, that's not a surge. Not saying ALL the players took the night off, but there were guys just standing there (Ducks game), waiting for the play to come to them, not covering their man, etc. Glad they got the win. |

And that's how a playoff team plays. Hope they can reel off a few wins in a row here. Let's make it 3 in a row tomorrow night. The points you pick up in November, you don't have to try to make up in March & April. |
