I know, it's pretty funny.
- Pecafan Fan

I thought the effort was better yesterday. Sure, it's one of the worst teams in the league, but they've beaten a couple of good teams lately. Why the Habs can't score now, is a mystery to me. They had several quality chances and either missed the net, or the goalie made a nice save. But either way, it's a win that they gutted out and that they needed. Now we get ready to boo Vanek, his one goal, and his shady dealings.

Right now he'sthe only center that control the puck on 5 on 5.

He's the only center on the team who is not in the -

- Fredobface

He gets all his time on the powerplay and offensive zone starts.

How anybody with 20/20 vision can defend him still is beyond me.

Is he as bad as he was at the start of last season? no. But having to give a guy like him isolated minutes because he can't line up defensively doesn't help.

And as for trading pleks instead because he would have more value is a bad arguement. You rid yourself of the better player because the lesser sucks.

I bet the there are no takers for Desharnais

I'm still optimistic that Dustin Brown will not make me regret drafting him in my pool.

Do penalty minutes count as a good thing in that pool?

I'm not going to yell, but I am going to say that I think you need to lay off huffing glue for a little while.
Hall is a leader and plays tough. RNH plays like the Sedins but is tougher. Eberle is our "small, skilled" player. Perron is a pest and its great (like Dustin Brown). Purcell is a big and offensive player and is reliable. Yakupov is showing he is capable of two-way playing and has been laying out the biggest hits for our team. LD is modeled after Kopitar. Arcobello is a temporary fill. Pouliot is a possession monster and is a giant of a man.

I don't need to talk about our fourth line.

Ference is the shortest dman, but he is tough. Jultz is like a hybrid of Eberle and Nuge, but is a dman, but he also sucks. Marincin/Petyr = gold. Fayne is gold. Nikitin is a big SOB, but is playing with back spasms. Klefbom makes mormon men want to do body shots off his abs.
