Still not going to be upset over this or the game against the Jets. The effort is there, the chances are there. Playing some good hockey. It will come around.
If anyone said 4 of the 6 defensemen for 2 games would be Kostka/Hunnwick and McIlrath/Allen and we would get 2 of 4 points, we would all be thrilled. |

How cruel are is hockey. Tarasenko rubbing our faces in it while Mcilrath just is pinned to the bench. |

The game agauist the jets you take it and move along. Down to 4 d-men, Pavelec playing out of his body and that's just one of those games. Tonight, is a game I'm furstrated with. Elliott was trash tonight. The Rangers only being able to score once a month on the PP is also just a joke. Can't blame the shootout. Blame the Rangers for not being able to bang home a rebound. |

I'm as pissed as if it were a loss, 2 points pissed away, something we do all too often, we'll be sweating it out in April because of games like these two, blown chances |

When the game is in your lap and you can't take advantage you don't deserve a point, you score on that PP to end the game and that's it, just finish, why do they make it so frustrating? |

2010 was a pretty good year. Schwartz and Tarasenko taken 2 picks apart. |

8 min of TOI. But those were 8 HARD minutes....
Man, I never understood the blind MDZ haters when he was here... Now I may finally understand it..
Girardi and Staal didn't look half bad for ya know, having to play 30 min. |

Its frustrating they didnt win, but I still see a lot of positives. We are outplaying teams lately. Its not like the games where they looked like a peewee team and nothing about their game was a positive.
Have faith, I think its coming around. |

MDZ was his own worst enemy. He show why he might have had a shot to be great, than he would just blow up in the worst possible time. But MDZ could skate well and pass. That's yet to be seen with Mcilrath. |

Why haven't we seen Duclair in the shootout? I'm curious as too how many scoring chances they were credited with, has to be twice as many which shows the fatal flaw of this team |

I'm guessing cause his breakaways he tries 100 moves and loses the puck. I think he did it 1 shootout too. Could be mistaken though. |

I'm just ready to move on already, the longer he's on the team the longer I have regret not having Fowler or Tarasenko |

It's not that's why it's annoying. If they blown out, you tip your hat to the Jets and Blues, then move along. Even the gets game, getting a point out that game is a gift. Zucc playing though an injury. Klein and Mcdonagh out early. We'd all sign up for a point. Tonight they should have one. Brian Elliott looked like the Brian Elliott of Ottawa. Just trash. But had the puck luck and the Rangers could score on an empty net or 4 on 3 power play. That's just drives me crazy. |

He had one opportunity early in the season and tried a bunch of moves and then lost control. Or am I thinking someone else? |

I mean outside of Kreider and Staal...what other first round picks over the last 10 or so years are playing for the Rangers right now? So McIlrath isn't panning out so far, just another one in line. Not a big deal to me. Rangers do good finding gems in the late rounds and trading for other teams first rounders. |

I get ya Tom. I'm just thinking moving ahead, the team is playing well other than the finish. Its going o change. They had the same exact issues last year. Bad start, not finishing, then they turned it around. |

It is why I say first shooter should always be Kreider. Take out the goalie then you should score with your next two shooters |

Yea it could always be worse. We could've had 3 first overalls and only draft 1 stud with them like the Oilers |

Yeah, I was pissed when it happened. No point being still annoyed about it.
And lets be honest, the team and a lot of the fans wanted a new Beukeboom. The Rangers hadnt had a big tough defenseman in a long while. I agree it was a horrible pick, but I do get the whole reason behind it. |
