The reason I'm afraid of that is first, Bettmans changing of the lottery this year. I beleive it may be directed at us. Second, what the NFL did to the Patriots over the spygate scandal.
Spygate was only borderline illegal and they flat out took a first rounder away. These leagues tend to copy cat each other.

So I read through the blog pages tonight...man, haven't seen men PMSing like that in some time!
Trade Meyers for Valerie N. in a heart beat!!
I don't mind Meyers, but damn Nitchuskin is unbelievable...would love to see Grigo him and Armia together...set up man, snipped, and hard charging go to the net guy...play 2nd line away from 1st line talent the other way so the D liability isn't so pronounced.

Now, GM TM needs to sit Nolan down and explain the objective of this season...tank baby, next year the rebuild,starts and he can go for it then.

Here is another thought.....


WE are in a rebuild and have to get the 1st or 2nd pick. As of now they are the only players adding to the team next season (maybe) Look at the rest of the team. Those 1 or 2 players are not gonna make a difference for at least 2 more years. We have players signed for at least 2-3 years. It could take that long before we make the playoffs. I laugh at the posters saying "trade him at the deadline and get the most for him" When will we have a team if we keep going that route ?

Added: It's gonna take another 1-2 years for all our prospects to make the team and make a difference. We have no overwhelming contracts as of now . We had a hard time making the minimum.
