Could have done it yesterday and maybe he would have been able to play tonight
- Jsaquella

Even if he flew out this morning he'd be back in plenty of time to play tonight.

Specifics weren't needed, the main point was made. Thanks.

Simply joining in the conversation. And I personally enjoy looking at the specifics.
And seeing how it is being posted that it could have happened yesterday, it is relevant.

so the big four are all lefties

Doesn't bother me at all. Some pretty good left handed shooting d-men played the right side.

Right, as long as they develop, and become what is expected.

On Saturday, the Flyers sent the 21-year-old defenseman back to the Phantoms to clear a roster spot for Vinny Lecavalier, who will return to the lineup against the Panthers after missing seven games with a left foot injury

There's the specifics. Didn't happen yesterday. Happened today.

Capgeek gets the official transactions directly from the League. Gostisbehere was assigned to the AHL yesterday, on October 31st.

Would anyone be open to trading for Slava Voynov, if it's true he's going to be made available?

He was at the morning skate, according to NHL.com. If he was sent down on Friday, he's not allowed to be at the skate with the Flyers.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/bl...d=33318#&navid=nhl-search

Gallant said after the morning skate that Barkov, Bergenheim and Bolland all are day-to-day. Pirri was placed on injured reserve Friday, which means he will miss a game Tuesday against the Boston Bruins but could return for the rematch against the Flyers next Thursday. ... Colaiacovo, signed by the Flyers on Friday, was one of five Philadelphia players who skated at BB&T Center on Saturday morning. ... Also skating was Gostisbehere, who is expected to be reassigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL. Gostisbehere became the first player born and raised in South Florida to appear in an NHL game last Saturday when he played against the Detroit Red Wings
.

All it says is that he skated with 5 players, not that he was at an official practice. I don't know what to tell you, but Capgeek lists the official league transactions. How many are aware that Coburn is on LTIR?

I trust capgeek more then philly.com or anyone that writes for them

NHL.com doesn't list Gostisbehere being sent down yesterday either.

Do they know if Coburn is on LTIR?

http://theahl.com/stats/t...eason_id=48&f_team_id=313

AHL is unaware that Ghost was sent down yesterday as well. Odd.

Good for you. The NHL, AHL and Flyers websites list no transactions involving Gostisbehere yesterday.

Flyers beat writers talking to Hextall all tweet that Gostisbehere was sent down today, and one provided an explanation as to why, but yeah, capgeek has it 100% correct

Soon it will be why is Mason signed for as long as he is, Luke Schenn sucks, Rinaldo is an idiot, & why can't they make a pass out of their own zone.
