INcredibly sheltered minutes during the mini season, and you and HH are the only ones who think he's better than Gardiner
- Big_Lightnin

So Gardiner > Franson?

My bad

And all you haters can suck it

- Big_Lightnin

You've been by his side all along...I admit it.

Long season though.

maybe he's better 'cause he's playing with the cage... and that saves his face every time he falls down?

He also has other players to play with that play his style of game. He was playing with all rush offence players last year that didn't cycle. There was a reason we were outshot so badly last year, it's cause our team never sustained pressure in the offensive zone cause they couldn't be bothered to cycle or battle along the boards for the puck.

We skate up the ice, if we don't score it's "meh, oh well" and give up.

- Sheppy99

Cheapest and easiest thing for the Leafs was to find players who complimented the rather large investment in Clarkson...at least that's what I think they were trying to do.

The Corsi stat you cited is also on-ice group stat like +/-.

In iCorsi/60 (individual shot-attempts) Rielly blows all Leafs dmen away with twice as many as the next guy, first in the league actually. He's second after Karlsson in old fashioned shots on net per/60.

- awfside

Wrist shots with no one in front from the blue line shouldn't count.

He'd be last if they didn't

( I like Rielly )

Meh, I'm sure if we watched lots of other teams 24/7 we would be wishing we had both

Komogod has been good, I like what Santo brings too.

I just wish Komorov knew where the net was.

- Garnie

Smart, hard working guys who don't mind skating into the tougher areas. That's why I didn't care that they were walking away from 20 goals in Raymond.

Kessel vs. the Hawks or Voracek vs. the Panthers.

Who should I play?

The Leafs might be better off, without Lupul in the lineup. They appear to be a more lunch bucket type of team, with grinders on the top 2 lines now. Before it was two lines of skaters and two lines of grinders. More balanced and better in their own end. I'm not sure what they have in store for Chicago, but I would shy away from ever betting on this game, or any game the Leafs play.

I'd go with Voracek, but last time you asked I think I steered you towards Belesky and not Devante-Pelley or whatever his name is

Nope, I went with DSP.

Even though Heatley was somehow granted 1st line minutes..

I have both those players on a team as well. Voracek is good, and I know this is a tough game for the Leafs, but Kessel is second overall in points over the last three seasons. Always play Kessel.

Good, though Belesky has been good too.

Actually he probably has more points in the HB POOL

I agree, not the biggest Lupul fan either. I find him more of a me first type player.

I think he can be good, he just needs time and strength.

But are we going to pay him $20m to watch him become what we are already paying for?

We female dog about Franson wanting more money and then pay Gards #2 money and he's more like #4,5 and even 6 most nights.
