I like the line changes...seems like Carlyle is starting to reward players for performance rather than succumbing to that entitlement crap - regardless of who they are.

I haven't seen anyone complain about how Franson has played in 8 single games this season. The conk,ain't is how he has played since he's been a Leaf, vs what it will cost to keep him.

Anybody can have a good stretch, just like they can have a bad stretch or bad season.

This team has upped there compete level the past few games. Last year if we faced Buffalo and Columbus the team would already be thinking about a win and we would be the team getting dominated. Tonight is the real test go leafs go

Who could have? I'm eating crow regarding DC and I'll admit that. He's a perfect case of less is more.

If it were nice, I'm sure we would have had over 200. Some excellent all out displays this year, but only a couple houses had adult treats because it was so miserable. If the weather looks to be crap next year, I think I'll get the coffee machines out, some paper cups with lids and a bottle of Baileys and Amarula for the parents.

actually thought Panik looked pretty good in somewhat limited ice last night, as did Holland. Frattin needs to start hitting to get back the edge he played with when he combined with Kadri.

also great to see Polak playing as much and as well as he did last night... noticed only one poor play on his part.
