Yeah we have to consider keeping Rocco and Trocheck here. Oh, and it's a point in 7 straight games.

Harvey, I would be more concerned if we weren't getting chances. Two posts last night, the game could have easily been 3-1. Between Trocheck and Grimaldi we could have had 5 goals. I would also be more concerned if we weren't the best defensive team in the NHL. I want to be healthy and see where we are goal wise at the end of November. Besides, there isn't much Tallon can do. I mean.... we held Boston to one regulation goal. That's impressive.

Yeah it's cold as a mother (frank)er up in Edmonton, and that's part of why it's a hockey town. We grow up playing the game, it's part of the culture and one of the reasons NHL is good business here. That and a thriving economy with a poopload of hard working people with a disposable income.

Fleishman needs to be on the top 2 lines to be anything worth wild. I hope DT dumps fleishman, bergenheim, upshall and kopeckny at the end of the year and package huberdeau and kulikov for some real scoring. We got enough trash for 3rd and 4th lines. DT also needs to dump Campbell at the trade deadline as well

I would consider keeping Bergenheim. And depending on how Huberdeau progresses this season, I wouldn't be opposed to that at all. I think we'll see Campbell play out his time here because with all of the young defensive prospects we have coming, the more "simmering" time for them, the better.

As we know good free agents won't come here until we go far in the playoffs and that 3 yrs away at the earliest.to get good players you have to deal good players. That means huberdeau, gudbranson and the like. If you're not willing to do that than you will get a jokenin or Bolland.

Huberdeau I'd give up. Not Gudbranson. Why give up your future captain/best shut down defensemen for a goal scorer? You solve one problem and create another one. The FA crop after this season is horrible anyways. And I think we're closer than 3 years away from the playoffs. It broke last night, sort of, that Tallon is working the phones trying to deal Fleischman/Upshall/Kopecky because he wants to keep Grimaldi and Trocheck up here. This from Harvey Fialkov.
