Talk of Zadarov in the line up.
Decision has been made on this subject, he won't be going to London given the circumstances. IIHF and Sabres have discussed this. Just waiting for opportune moment.

There is definitely a trade coming, the potential partner and Sabres are in seriously deep discussions.

I don't understand why the Sabres would make a trade now. I wouldn't expect anything for months. The only guy I'd like to see traded is Hodgson.

Hodgson would be the last Darcy Regier "head scratcher" contract that's still here, unless you count Myers.

I wish Stewie and Staf would start filling the net every 2.5 games...over next 50 games that would get them 20 goals each and really drive their value up at the deadline.

Darcy signed him because be didnt want to "lose" that trade. Consequently Hodgson's agent had the upper hand and fleeced the Sabres.

Ruff and even (yes) Rolston better utilized hodgson. With vanek and pominville he was producing like a 2nd line center. Under Rolston him and Moulson were the only two contributing offensively. Nolan broke them up and started pairing 19 with D'Agostini and other 3rd/4th line players. I'm not of the mindset that nolan kills offensive players but he definitely hasn't used hodgson well at all.

Tread carefully. The mere suggestion that Teflon Teddy might have anything to do with the disaster has unfolded at First Niagara Center is grounds for "Terrible Human Being" status.

Unfortunately with our current talent void, few guys are reaching their potential. And what is Gionta doing out there? I thought he was more proud than this as a player. I hope he retires this offseason.

Agreed. I'm just thinking that what harm could come of putting a line together with hodgson and Moulson. It's not like they are lighting it up with other linemates.

Maybe moulson doesn't want to play with hodgson.

I think Kris Baker should have Peterson as the #2 on the depth chart behind Ullmark. He's played his first 4 games for Notre Dame, has a 1.50 gaa and a .948 sv. Ullmark is off to a bit of a rough start this year with MODO. I would agree with the rest of the chart though. He's got a nice site with some good info on the prospects.

Did anyone read Ryan Wilson's blog to the Sabres today?

I don't know if I should laugh or be sad.
