That is the general opinion around here . But we have a few that are smarter than our coach and GM that disagree . I am sure every teams forums has them.

Not going to lie. (this is just my opinion) I didnt like the reinhart pick. I did not expect him to stand out or start lighting up the score board. Mainly because he is not that type of player. He doesnt have the dynamic goal scoring ability or physical play/frame or skating skills that would make him stand out in any way. I definitly saw those smart plays and some flashes that a top pick would have though. Im going to save my judgment until he makes it here full time but this is pretty much exactly what i expected. Hes going to be a great complimentary piece to this team down the line but im not expecting a superstar

So, I wanted Bennett...that said(why I donano) ... Reinhart will be fine...give him some closers for wing men and you will love hi when he's throwing 70 assist on the board. I dont need him to be a beast scoring, but he does need closers to make him invaluable.

As a devils fan who really doesn't care what the sabres do, i have to wonder how much more the sabres can do to tank this year, maybe not show up for games? maybe only skate 4 players all game long? You draft a guy with the second pick, play him on the 4th line then send him back to juniors, what exactly is he going to learn in juniors for a last place team? First the GM is already scouting minor league players, now you send down a top 2 draft pick? Funny how it was the devils who were circumventing the rules, but the sabres tanking a whole season isn't?

I personally look past the size thing more than most. That's the thing everyone gets caught up on. I think it has been more of a disadvantage than an advantage thus far. But again these are opinions. And to your second point...the wings were rumored to want Myers big difference from actuality. In fact didn't Nolan address that the rumors were not true?
