I tend to agree. I really wanted a pure skill guy in the mix on the wings as we dont really have that other than the oft-injured Bennett and Kapanen who isn't ready yet. For the short term I would love a guy like Big Buff or Brent Burns. But big guys with skill are rare, of course, and cost a premium.

As far as dupes/ kuni are concerned... This whole arguement is ridiculous! The guy is almost a point per game this year on a 6 2 team! It's good to be a pens fan these days... Imagine the conversation if we were buffalo or Edmonton !!!! Go pens!!!

Im starting to think that there buyers for Scuds but we arent selling. Sounds a bit like the coaching staff wants to have him around.
Personally he hasnt looked that bad out there. Positionally sound, good on the PK nothing flashy. If it wasnt for that contract and the log jam of talent behind him I wouldnt mind him on the team.

Its funny, guys like Silfverberg, Nino, Ericsson seem like more realistic options because they were already traded once. Maybe I'm losing my mind.

I'm a jv HS coach as well... you should know better. Megna will be better on the 4th line than Sill

In HS JV I agree with you, in the NHL Megna hides on the ice and plays a small game. At least the other team notices when Sill plays. I'm not saying Sill is great and has to be in the lineup but don't replace him with a mighty might. I want to know what happened with Payerl? The guy is 220 plays like hes 220 good skater, will fight if needed but The team is 6-2-1 so its not all that bad.

I'm not saying all I'd bad I just want tweaks to the lineup to have 4 solid lines all that can be a scoring threat. Sill goc adams is not a scoring threat.

Isn't it all that we hoped for? To see Scuderi playing decent hockey so we could trade him? I wouldn't waste this chance if I was the manager.
