Oh crap, thanks Ms. Crapapple.

Just because you have similar comprehension to Ralph Wiggum doesn't make me a Simpsons character.

It's the fact that my skin is yellow that makes me a Simpsons character.

Meh, I just think it happens every game on a dman who passes the puck up the boards and the forehecking forward finishes his hit. If you watch those hits, its the same amount of time, if not more sometimes.

The difference is the contact to the head.

If that hit was clean, admit that none of you would have paid any attention to the "lateness" of it.

- moondawg

Bottom line, it's interference because the puck was gone and he was taken out of the play and thus unable to defend, and the play should have resulted in a penalty and the goal never happens. That's EE's gripe here.

The fact that Burrows has a 1pm disciplinary hearing because he also hit Emelin's head with this hit simply underscores that point.

It wasn't late, but it was a long way from clean. Burrows saw he was going to miss his target and moved to make whatever contact he could instead of flying right past his man.

Had it been a clean hit, it would have also been a useless hit anyway. But it wasn't. He clocked a guy in the head. Whether he meant to or not is irrelevant.

listen mook, it was late too

Totally agree with you. I think my argument is more with Darren Dreger.

I think it is about sheltering Desharnais. Therrien is pushing his stupid French agenda and using Eller who is Danish who nobody likes as his scapegoat.

I think what EE is really trying to say is that it's a damn shame the Habs aren't 10-0 like they clearly deserve be.

Yup, head shot. And you're right penalty should have been called.

I'm surprised no one here is complaining about the pick in overtime, at the Canucks blueline that lead to the GWG.

Meh, that didn't bother me as much as the call on Gilbert that lead to the PP. That was a pretty weak (frank)ing intereference call, especially in OT.

Wait...is that the call? Or was there another one? I was pretty out of it by the time the game wrapped up.

Well, it was good for you guys to get the point, 3rd game in 4 nights on the Westcoast is respectable.

1-1-1 on that swing is nothing to cry about, considering that collectively the Habs played about 12 total minutes of good hockey over the 3 games.

Yeah, I guess it was like 1am for you guys. We got it good on the Westcoast early games at 4, late games at 7. Everything done by 10.

Yeah, it was 1am and I was 3 beer and several scotch into the evening. I don't remember much beyond thinking "oh goody, game's over. I can pass out now."
