In the end I think we'll have to overpay and it might not even be the perfect fit, but at some point you can't kid yourself and have to make a move to bring a legit top pairing guy in. Even if the guy is a #2.

I do however wonder if we did get a guy like Yandle could Eakins handle saying (frank) defense and just go for an offensive team?

Van, NYI, and Dal all teams ahead of us in the standings. All over 3GA per game. Why are they winning? Because they are scoring 3+ goals a night.
