Wow, Chief trying to derail the Wayne Train.

Loving 10/14/24... L3 was starting to get smoked.

Line 3 looks sluggish. Wouldn't mind seeing arty with them but I'll settle for almost anyone over Umberger at this point

I hope that Schenn's forechecking can help get that line more of an offensive presence.

Akeson might find himself back in the AHL if he doesn't light a fire under his ass. Umberger has played a solid support game. I'd just like to see him be more assertive offensively. Getting him away from the top checking line, and with Lecavalier, might spark his offensive game. The lines look balanced on paper.

No idea what this means but sounds very much like the result of a suppository post Lactulose/Senna.

Arty's not getting a sniff at any prime ice until there's a rash of injuries to force it... I'm convinced. It took the entire top pair going down to get Chief to elevate MDZ's role, and realize what he had there.

I have no idea what it means either, but I'm being tested on it Tuesday.

I've got nursing students assigned to me already for their medicine rotations.

I told them today I just grad a couple months ago to see their reaction. Have to say its nice. They are from the university next door. I'll keep aging but a hot and attractive new batch every few months. I've hit the motherload.

That's simply not accurate. In the first game of the season, Del Zotto played 20:22 of ice time against one of the top teams in the East. 18:55 against NJ, 19:57 against Ana, 18:43 against Dallas. 20:05 against Chicago. His icetime was down against Montreal and Dallas, because he played poorly. Certainly the injuries factor into it because there is more ice time available. But the last 3 games show, that when Del Zotto is playing well, Berube will play him more. Players performance dictates ice time. Which is why Akeson is not playing a lot, and why he might find himself a scratch soon, or demoted.
Del Zotto has taken the opportunity and ran with it. What is Akeson going to do when he gets the opportunity?
