Sad but true... Josh Bailey is the lynch pin that holds this team together.

I have a ton more faith in Halak than in Johnson, really hoping Halak has a solid game he can build off going forward. |

Maybe MM will remember that scoring is more important than hitting.

He's been beyond useless lately. He should be scratched, IMO. |

Fully agree. Martin is a waste with his current desire to pad his hit totals. I am looking forward to seeing Nelson with JT and Okposo but Lee, Strome and Martin is an odd choice to say the least.
Actually the only thing they all have in common is that cappy plays them all about 11 minutes a night. Meet our new fourth line. |

I guess this is Cappy's way of stopping the complaining about the fourth line getting too much ice time. |

Martin was slightly better than useless a few games last season when Strome was his center, so maybe they can make it work again...although that line as a whole is lacking in the skating department.
No excuses for letting in 3+ tonight though with a completely healthy D and Halak in net. If it's another goalfest for the other team, they gotta be asking some serious questions come tomorrow.
I have a feeling they'll come to life on this west coast swing. Don't think they'll sweep it by any means, but I think we'll see some good hockey and some points. |

.....right after Capuano gets sh*tcanned, and Marc Crawford comes in and starts screaming at everyone and throwing things at them when they don't play defense. |

Lee Strome Martin is not the second coming of the Trio Grande.. but it could be an effective line none the less, lets give it a chance.
