Mason may be getting replaced by Emery...so keep an eye on both if you need a goalie upgrade.
as for Ladd - keep him, he's red hot right now...Kane I hope comes out flying, but may take him a couple games...
As for Wizniewski...i think hes a great D man - if you can get him and hes an upgrade over one of your D - do it. - Lucas Neilson
I think Philly will straighten things out and Mason will hopefully be apart of that.
I have Mason, can you tell? hahah. |

Great chance he has a big night. Boston is starting to sort things out..and Buff is not by any means a good team.
I still cant believe SJ lost to them! - Lucas Neilson

Yeah, I'm kinda thinking the same thing in the long-run. As long as he can play remotely close to last year he will still be a more valuable fantasy asset than Anderson/Pavelec. I'll probably be looking to upgrade as soon as Mason has one strong game. |

Perfect! I picked up Svedberg to fill my goalie gap until Crawford comes back. Hoping for him to blank the Sabres tonight. - jtommyt
And nevermind, Sabres have scored almost as many goals on Svedberg tonight as they have all damn season. |

Are both Palmieri and Jenner still hurt or just Jenner?
thats not bad, Hanzal is under rated...perron SHOULD get it together at some point...he missed pre season if i recall. - Lucas Neilson
Yes, both are injured, but Jenner should be back soon while there is no real time table for Palmieri.
I think I will pick up Perron and not make a run for Zetterberg. There is not a lot I can do to free enough salary while still being competitive. I don't have enough highly paid slacker on my team to drop. Perron basically won't cost me a thing.
I am currently 1st and almost all of my players are having pretty decent production (not crazy good, but above average for most). 2nd and 3rd place are not far behind and they basically have more unproductive players and more holes in their lineup. They have crazy production from a few players, making them very competitive.
Scheifele and Barkov and Silfverberg are my players off to a slow start. I'm hoping Scheifele will pick it up with Kane back in the lineup. Picking Perron would allowed me to play hot hands between Silfverberg or Barkov.
I thought about maybe trying to move Silfverberg while his prospect status/potential is still there. Do you think it's a good idea? |

Good call, take perron, hes at an all time low for fantasy worth right now but he should get it going eventually...
I think with ANA depth you can afford to move Silfverberg - what did you have in mind? |

all three games are tough ones..
Gibson has been great since being recalled.
Keumper got eating up in the third period of last game so hes going to want to get back on track.
Varlamov is due for a big win and the Isles have their backup in...
all 3 are tough games, Varlamov i think may be your best bet even though COL has struggled. - Lucas Neilson

Not sure. I really don't know what value people puts on him. I hoped at 1st to package him with something else for a good player/pick but I'm afraid others won't see much value for him since he didn't produce much so far. |

yeah its tough to trade someone who isnt exactly putting up decent points.
i find its best to sell high if you can, its just sometimes tricky when to know if its the right time to pull the trigger or not! |

Yeah, that's why I'm not sure about Silfverberg. Sell now while his "potential" is still there or hope for more production and sell higher.
That is why I am also considering about trading Beleskey right now since he is "high" |

I would see what you can get for both of them together - perhaps a nice lil package deal.
one sell high
one sell potential

Yeah, might go that way.
Also, what do you think of Tatar? Slow start, but I think things will pick up for him? I guess with Datsyuk out, it didn't help his case much. |

I would take a waiver on Tatar..i think he will get it going.
what other free agents are available? Tyler Johnson by chance from TBL? |

No, the guy who have him made him a keeper. Could be pretty hard to get. Top Free agents available are Nash, Zetterberg, Plekanec, Nick Foligno, Zucker (might be an interesting option considering how cheap he is), Little, Hartnell, Perron, Krejci.
Lots of good names, but I have to keep in mind of salary cap. I don't have a lot of players I'd be willing to drop that would make it worth. My highly paid players are for the most part, productive and some or my underachieving players are keepers worthy (Barkov) |

4.7M. I thought about it. Basically, I have 3.1M available. Small roster move will give me 4-4.8M so it comes down to who to target while not sacrifying too much. Getting a player that gets me 80 pts looks amazing, but if I get rid of a 65 pts player to do so, it's a lot less attracting.
So far, my mind is set on dropping a 800K player to be able to get Perron. I hate using drops so early since we only have 4 for the year, but I wasn't able to make a trade to clear space. |

Perron SHOULD be good for 50 points and some PIM...
yeah at this time of the year its not easy to make too many trades I find...wait til some guys are in the gutter |

Yeah, it's a lot tougher when you are among the leaders too. Don't want to screw things up and send a player that will bite your ass later. |

Hey Lucas,
I was just proposed a trade that I think you'll love, but I'd love some input before I act.
To me this looks like a no-brainer. Staal should at least equal Burns' production from here on out, and Nelson is just icing on the cake.
Burns has been a mother (frank)ing all-star for me so far, but this is a perfect example of selling high and buying low, no? |
