Exactly. Which is why I want Staal. He is only 30. He isn't injury prone. Missed a handful of games his entite career. He isn't on the decline, Carolina just sucks. Staal with Kessel would be amazing.

People fail to realize you have to give to get. Then they have the nerve to complain about Bozak being our #1C. But if we give up Gardiner, Kadri or whatever, they complain it's too much. Like I said. You have to give to get.

yeah staal would be nice but he would cost a lot more

My oldest wanted monster high.

We usually have really intricate patterns, but just really busy this year, tried to do a bit easier ones this year. Still turned out good I think.

Exception, not the rule
- TheThrill

Doesn't matter. It means we don't necessarily need to tank to get the BEST player.

Joe Thornton has not missed a game 2010-2011

since 2011-2012 he has been producing at a 0.91PPG pace

and maintaining it

10P in 11 games this season

u can draft someone and ruin them by rushing them. florida does this all the time. edmonton too. also leadership. put Yakipov in the same lockeroom with Datsyuk/Gonchar and i be he would turn out different

I dont, not a fan of the so called "Core" of this team. I like JVR Reilly and Bernier.

If ever there was a year to tank, this is it. Pretty sure Pens fans forgot when they picked up Lemieux, and to a lesser extent, Crosby. To get a player like that, its worth it. Not like leafs have been winning anyways.

Why would Joe agree to come to TO? He has a great contract with a perennial playoff team and lives in sunny San Jose. Let's all keep this argument in perspective shall we? He' not coming; neither is Staal. If Staal were to waive his NTC, surely he would want to go to a contender.

I would think that the questions regarding Stall are 2 fold ...

Cap Room .... pretty sure that can be arranged somehow ...
Does he want to go to Toronto ... Who wants to play for a team that doesn't make the playoffs , he could stay in Carolina and do the same ...

I have zero idea why Leafs fans and writers talk about every big name coming to Toronto yet none ever do , cant you guys get a clue
