Ahh just because the guy makes more money than I'll ever see in my life doesn't mean he's not human.

That poop sucks as a kid. I moved around a ton growing up and it was lame sauce.

If I could only see my son once every few weeks or whenever I had some free time or Holidays, it wouldn't matter if I was (frank)ing loaded, that poops rough

- TheThrill

agreed.. but on the plus side robidas can retire in 3 years

and spend more time with his family than any of us could ever hope for

Kadri is playing the Clarke MacArthur game, Mac had a sick year with Kule and Grabbo. But Kule and Grabbo got more attention and Grabbo got paid cause they scored more. Macs play making ability gets over looked and he fights for money on a new contract. From that point on Mac chose to hold the puck and look for shots as opposed to moving the puck. Whole line fails, everybody suffers.

Kadri hasn't made half of the effective passes he did in his rookie years after his contract battle. Shoots first too much (I'm looking mostly from last year, haven't watched much this season due to my work sched.) with that ultra repetitive toe drag shot move. Looking for money IMO. If you can swap him for Staal without the puck I'd do it.

- Jay Uller

He hasn't registered an assist yet this season if that tells you anything.

I agree. I'm a single dad and I raised 3 kids on my own. I consider myself very fortunate that I got to spend so much time with my kids as they grew up. A lot of dads miss out on spending time with their kids.

IT has to suck being away from your kids like that.

although a break is needed sometimes.

But worse part of that article is reading that the leafs signed a 37 year old to a three year deal.

Agreed.

Obviously having money is better than not having money, but being long distance from loved ones sucks.

So, I've had a tough start to the day. Not sure what was wrong, but seemed like every part of my body hurt when I touched it. My hand, my arm, my knee, my head, legs...everywhere. I was really concerned so I told my wife about it and went through the issues. It hurts when I touch here, it hurts when I touch here and here and here....
She says "Let me see your finger"
"OK"
"What's that?" She asked.
"Oh, that's a blister, I burned my finger on the hot plate of the coffee maker this morning."
"Dumbass".

No one forced him to become an NHL player. He knew full well that travelling, getting traded etc, were part of the job.

No?

Of course.

It doesn't mean that it's any easier, especially for the kid.

But some of the best times are when the kids are young.

Cant argue though.....it is a mighty fine gig.

Why didn't the family go with him to Toronto?

Ex-wife had no problem living in Dallas with the kids when he was there, but won't come to TO?
