His name is so long, he'd sprain his wrist before finishing signing and have to immediately go on the IR.

Yay Carlo!

Given what is out there, Colaiacovo is probably one of the best choices. He's been effective in the NHL during those rare moments where his body holds up

- Jsaquella

I feel like now is a good time to open a duct tape business outside of the practice rink in Voorhees, no?

/get well soon, Carlo!

Hallelujah, it's not Fat Dougie.

Honestly expected Collie to hang 'em up, after all he's been thru.

Well, in a way, he's like Streit, in that he doesn't have a ton of wear on his tires despite his age.

Unlike Streit, Carlo is likely make of papier mache.

Marc, I fixed that for me. Because that's what I'd be doing if Doug Murray were in our top 6.

i only saw the 3rd and thought they played well. first tampa goal was a double deflection fired from outside the zone and it counted. stamkos scored in the final minute of the 2nd to make it 2-1. flyers were whistled for 7 minors, including a very weak 2 many men call with 5 minutes left at 3-2, which negated a glorious chance for raffl, and turned into the game winning goal with only 4 seconds left on the kill. horrendous officiating.

Whatever we think of Glass Carlo....at least it's a window into the type of player Hextall likes.

At his best, Glass Carlo has skills.

The problem is, I can call him "Glass Carlo" and an average hockey says "Oh, is that Carlo Colaiacovo?".

Sigh. I'd rather this, than rush one of our guys. On the other hand, how bad would it be to just plug in Brandon Manning as our #6?

tied at 1-1 flyers should have had a 5 on 3 pp for 1:04...but they decided to call a poopty holding the stick penalty on G to even it up. later in the second a bolt player does EXACTLY the same thing to L schenn but they forget to call it this time and take schenn for hooking...go figure. then rinaldo knocks down 6' 7" brian boyle and gets 2 min.....stamkos threads one in thru a screen for the 2-1 lead. as time expires in the second G gets his head bounced off the ice WAAAY after the horn and....you guessed it: no call. BS too many men call in the third puts them up 3-1. jake gets one back but also misses an open net. TB scores w/ 4 sec left on yet another PP to go up 4-2.
flyers pull razor and score w/ a min left but can't pull off the comeback.

it's pretty desperate and obviously shows hextall doesn't have much faith in a guy like manning.
