he is still lacking confidence to shoot but everything else honestly to me seems to be improving

23:41 tonight and over 26 minutes against the Kings. Berube seems to be trusting him a lot more. He's been first in minutes the last 2 games.

the rinaldo one was the worst imo

don't you dare gently bump boyle from the side, that's apparently a no no

- -davies-

Lest we forget Giroux's holding the stick. Clear as day

Classic

Oh and the 1st TB was totally offsides

I think Chief feels the same way all us fans feel right now. All season your a well disciplined team now we get called for 7 penalties.

Grossman and Couts' high stick yeah, but those other ones, they were reaches at best.

I can see why they called it. I do. PEB was lazy getting off, and Raffl jumped off and generated a potentially damaging rush right away. Was it too many men? Ok, maybe it was.

But here's the thing.

That's a call that's never made. 85% of changes in an NHL game are too many men on the ice penalties. They only really call the penalty when it's completely obvious. As in, we're here watching the TV and see like 16 players hopping over the boards for the other team, and you go "uhmmmmmmmmmmm"....those are the too many men calls that get made. I'll guarantee you no TB fan was yelling for TMM on that play. And that's ignoring the fact that this tick tack call was with 5 minutes left in the game. Kidding me?

- Giroux_Is_God

I thought a lot of the calls were kinda weak. They call G for holding the stick then call Luke Schenn when the exact same thing happens to him. The Rinaldo hit was pretty weak and the too many men is only called sometimes.

With Coburn and MacDonald out, they don't have a lot of choice. But to his credit, I think Del Zotto is taking advantage of it, and is playing well..

Oh well, the Flyers have a stretch where they can really make some noise. The next four are Florida, Edmonton, Florida & Colorado. After that it's a tough go, with the Jackets (twice), Habs, Rangers and Wild.

The only legitimate penalties committed by the Flyers that game were the high sticks by Coots on Stamkos and Grossmann on some other waste.

And sure enough they come up with what? 2 PP goals? 3? I lost count.

Don't forget the Giroux holding the stick call destroyed what should have been a minute long 5-3

Problem lays in who do we give up to get those better players? I'm all for cleaning up this D just as much as the next guy, but not at the risk of dismantling the offense.

They missed off sides on one of the TB goals. The calls on Rinaldo, Giroux, and Luke Schenn were all bad calls in my opinion.

The game was poorly reffed. It sucks, but it was. We've all seen worse Too Much Man calls get ignored, and some of the calls were flat out, just bad.

But, the Flyers get the Panthers twice and the Oilers. Good time to start a new win streak

So the refs were, in fact, poopty?

How did they look? I missed the game due to work obligations.

Slow start, but played well from about the 10 minute mark of the 1st period on.

Refs made several sketchy calls throughout the game on the Flyers. Lightning made them count and got 2 PP goals. Flyers deserved a better fate. Almost came back and tied the game after pulling the goalie down by 2 goals.
