good on you then. really.

i stay away from them for probably the reasons that attract you to them. but thats your right as a fan, to be attracted to what you enjoy.

Sounds like you may be implying that I went this route because I like "gooning it up".

Wonder if we see any line-up changes tonight?

As much as I want to say Jones and Manning should come in, the team was flowing all night against the Kings. I really liked the line combos.

I hope Vinny is ready to go tonight and Bellemare shifts back to the fourth line so even out the offense.

Might see some good old fashioned pond hockey tonight.

Steelers aren't that good this year either. Their defense is pretty bad. It's only a matter of time before it catches up with them. Their entire team is so incredibly dependent on Antonio Brown.

It's all about the wins right now and really, what can I say to him about his D? The Bears have like two real NFL players on that side of the ball.

well, we dont have to use that harsh of a branding for it. but that tough physical style is what they were identified with, and what drew legions of fans. (ironically, they really arent that way now at all, despite the reputation)

but if this was an overly quick and presumptuous conclusion, i'm sorry for that. i'm also open ears if you want to tell me why else?

Yeah. The Bears roster has major flaws. They should look to move Marshall in the offseason for some picks. Jeffrey is passing him and Bennett has proven to be a very good player and red zone target.

theyve definitely fallen a long way. it wasnt too long ago where the roles were reversed, and their defense scored more for them than their offense.

i do think forte is one hell of a running back. might be the most underrated out there.

I wish they could move Cutler. Cripes, he's poison on the field.

Simple....go back and watch footage of guys like Trent Klatt, Shonn Podeign, Rob Dimao, etc play. Blood and guts...go out on your shield for the team guys. You know...like the way we play football in western penn.

No one wants VL and VL wouldn't waive to go to Edmonton anyway
- PhillySportsGuy

While I agree that Lecavalier isn't likely to agree to go to Edmonton. I think it remians to be seen how much interest there would be in trading for Lecavalier. If he plays well when he returns, I can see there being significant interest in the player.

He's a great fantasy player. If you need two yards on third down you might as well drop back and punt. He's so not clutch.

I play in PPR leagues and he (frank)ing kills it. Most teams run a two back offense now with one guy taking the reception or goal line carries. Guys like Forte, Charles and Leveon Bell are worth their weight in gold

I drafted Luck, Bell, and Goldten Tate this summer in my draft. The 3 have literally carried me to a 6-2 record so far pretty easily

I have Tate too. I got Rivers so late in both of my drafts. People are so dumb to waste a top pick on a guy like Manning or Brees. You can get good QBs in like the 10th round.

It's so difficult to find great RBs in the late rounds. You basically need to get lucky with an injury.

It (fantasy hockey) is a lot of work. Putting guys in and out of the line-up daily was too much for me

As bad as he is, he's better than most other options. The Bears are in a much better spot with a competent defense.

He's not really a game manager, as he's too sporadic. Then again, if he has a competent defense that isn't getting 50+ points scored on them, he's certainly good enough to put the ball in Jeffrey, Marhshall, Bennet, or even Fortes hands.

Christ, with Jeffrey and Marshall it doesnt even have to be a good throw. Anywhere in the general area around their head/shoulders has a good chance of getting caught.

Thats why I suggested it. EDM lacks a legit 2nd line center, and its been rumored that we have been discussing trade talks with them. I dont think VL needs to prove anything in his return, everyone knows what they are getting with VL.

The question is, who would we get in return for VL if we trade w EDM ? and who else could use VL enough to trade us something decent ?
