Thinking of being the Pumpkin head, sitting in the chair beside the door. Kids will think I am made of hay... Until I start chasing them....

Too many young kids in my neighborhood to be scary.

I'll be Superman at the door. Nothing like greeting children wearing tight underwear.

I was debating dressing up as the TTC leprechaun - green shirt, chin beard, bowler. Put two chairs out front - sit in one, have a gym bag filled with candy on the other chair.

But I think those 15 minutes are over.

2 years ago my son, who was 6, and the size of a 4 year old, went as Darth Vader.

There was a house on the street that had a big "stuffed" frankenstein in front of the garage. Every once in a while this guy in the Frankenstein costume would scare the crap out of kids who walked by the garage to the door.

When he jumped out of the chair at my son, my son reacted by flicking on his Darth Vader Lightsabre and holding it up threateningly ... I was so proud

We have a neighbour that goes all out. All you hear is screaming all night with kids and parents freaked out. My daughter always wants to go, but chickens out every time. This guy is big, but his costume must be 9' tall. One year all the lights were out in his house, door wide open with a dim light shining on the candy bowl. Kids had to go in to get their candy, and there he was. I'm sure there were some accidents in kids drawers that night.

I'm no OCD germaphobe, but isn't it time they ripped the phones out of the bathrooms in hotel rooms?

I don't want to imagine what kind of germs and bacteria are crawling over that thing.

Probably the same germs that are crawling all over the toothbrush you have in your bathroom.

People come from all over to this guys house. Super nice guy though. He told me he is going to do the same thing with the adult shooters this year, but this time in his spooky decked out garage. I told him no one will go in there...you'll have tons left. He said I'll meet you in the garage at 9:30.

I love the parent trick or treating on our street.

Two years ago, I carved my pumpkin to say FREE BEER.

Handed out beer in plastic cups.

We were a very popular house that year.

I love it as well, we're pretty fortunate to have such a close nit community. I have come home twice with a little wobble happening, and sure enough someone on our street always invites us over for hot toddy's. With it being a Friday, I expect to be a little slower Saturday morning.
