Guys, my printer crapped out. Will the arena be able to scan pics off my phone?

I blame Nolan for your printer "crapping out".

Nolan the motivator is having trouble getting his team motivated

He's not an x's and o's guy, he has his assistants do that

I'm not complaining mind you. Embrace the tank!! Stay the course

Buccigross has a piece up on Jack Eichel. I haven't read it yet, but it's probably relevant to us and our awful hockey team.

Agreed Gil. All the talk about Ted not being the X/O guy doesn't bother me one bit. As long as he has someone behind the bench with him that does have a plan. It was said Ted was giving the team a 10 game window and now its up. Let see what transpires out of his tirade he put forth today. I think we will see a different Sabres team VS the Bruins . We may not win but I bet we register 40 shots.

We'll see, 10 shots to 40 shots? A tad optimistic but who knows. This is kind of fun for me to see how bad this team can be. I don't know, if you're going to do something do it right and they are being terrible beautifully.

I pretty much wrote off this and next season. Seems everone thinks after this draft we will be a powerhouse team or at least one that contends. Any player drafted will be 2-3 years away from making any kind of impact. My advise to those who think different ? Look at Reinhart,Girgs,Grigs, Zads. How far away were they ?

Great read. Eichel seems to have the right head on his shoulders. Bucci compares him to a Toews-like body. Eichel feels that he plays a Jeff Carter-type game. Hard to complain about either of those things.

The only mention of Buffalo is that we could be one of the handful of other teams named that could be drafting him.

I wrote this season off too, but i expected some seblance of entertainment....these guys are peeling off hits as soon as the puck is passed, sometimes before hand....Our "power forwards"....skate the puck over the blue line and head TOWARDS the side boards. No net presence, no shoot first mentality.....just impossible to watch. But I suppose im preaching to the choir.

It also seems to explain why it took so much longer for us to hear his name in comparison to how long we've been hearing McDavid's.

Very good read.

X2...... I definitely wouldnt be disappointed with him on our team. The working class attitude & upbringing is a good fit for Buffalo and its people too!

I'm not surprised. It was the same way last year. I would have loved to go, just couldn't squeeze it in. I have tickets for it sitting in my wallet right now.

I love the chip he has on his shoulder because he keeps being told McDavid will go #1. He wanted to prove so badly that he could have the same type of numbers in the same league as McDavid, but it wasn't possible because of the CHL rules.

The one thing about him that makes me a bit nervous, is how long whoever drafts him may have to wait for him to play for them. Does he leave college after only 1 year? Or does he go back for a few more years first?

that sucks, i probably would have went but canceled my debit card a few weeks ago so no way to pay through the internet, even 3 bucks as some of the tickets were (i guess i could have went down to the arena or something). I thought this year might be a bit different because this is the best chance buffalo has to see a good hockey game and high scoring.

Well, Buccigross makes it sound like he'll be a one-and-done player. If Eichel and McDavid are truly the "generational" players we're being told they are, I can't imagine either of them not playing in the NHL next season and collecting a buttload of points in the process. It just doesn't seem like the scouts are wrong very often when it comes to the players that are supposed to be this good.

I leave for a vacation to Florida on Friday, so I have a lot to do. Figured between what I need to get done and leaving my poor dog for a week, it was best that I stay home tonight to get stuff done and spend some time with my pup.

If I remember correctly, Eichel said he will do whatever the team that drafts him wants him to do. He would love to stay at BU for 4 years, but understands he may have a better opportunity. I think that's what he told the Hockey Hotline guys before the game in Buffalo.

Had I known you wanted to go that bad, I could have figured out a way to get my tickets to you. Better than having them go unused.

If Reinhart is going to progress regardless of where he's playing then why bother burning the first year of his contract on a throwaway season? He's got an idea of what it's like to physically compete with men much bigger than him so he'll know what he has to work on if they send him down.
