Been around, played for the team. Shown SOMETHING.
Finn might be a more talented player, but he hasn't shown anything yet - TheThrill
Healthy scratch quite a bit.
The nhl is moving away from big lumbering dmen who don't move the puck well or provide offense. |

My bad, I thought he captained the Generals. Still, he was touted in the OHL, so the point stands.
He didn't outperform McKegg, and that's my point. Finn hasn't outperformed any of the guys I placed ahead of him... yet. Maybe he will, but he hasn't yet - TheThrill
Ok I disagree. |

Speaking of prospects, anyone know how Andreas Johnsson is doing this year?
Last year he was the talk of the town for forward prospects, but Willy Nylly has sort of locked down the top euro forward role |

In 2 games, he has outperformed players with 2 years on the team?
How does that work?
Regardless, I bet by this time next season, hell maybe even before the season is done, we will agree on where our D prospects rank. But 2 games in is too soon for this cowboy. |

See the post above. He's shown more than Finn has.
Sure, he has had more time to. Definitely. But that's my point. People are gaga over Finn when he hasn't shown or done anything of consequence yet - TheThrill
How? I don't think he has. |

Enough of his personal life...can he hockey?
6' 0 - 214 lbs...nice. 9 points in 13 games with Barrie - nice, but how do the Leafs get him. Is he first round material? Leafs need a centerman, so you must think the Leafs will pick in the teens. |

I think Finn and Percy are pretty much the same thing. Percy has a full year of AHL on Finn and may have developed seemingly overnight, but in my opinion, if you like Percy, you'll like Finn. He's mobile, smart, composed and a good leader - everything Percy is. Finn may take a year longer to get there, but I think he's a pretty decent prospect. - Woderwick
Finns a year younger, so not really taking a year longer. Seems to be on same time frame as Percy. |

I'm OK with this. If Finn becomes a great prospect, then I will be stoked, because it means the Leafs will benefit.
But 2 games into his first pro season, I'm not about to toss him up to the top of the depth chart already - TheThrill
Why isn't holder higher then? I'm not getting what you are trying to get at.
Finn is the better prospect, with out a doubt. |

I know, I'm just saying if Finn does happen to take a year longer in hockey years to get to the NHL, then so be it. Players develop at different rates. I still think he's a top defensive prospect. |

He only has 1year on the team and was like #6 dman and didn't really do that much.(he was #7 dman in pts and games played in the playoffs). |

He's going to be a first round pick. He's probably the third best defender in the draft. Tough filing Ekblad's shoes, but by all accounts he's doing it. Strange route for Swedish players to take. |

Percy got a sniff early (and showed he may be close) in his 2nd pro year, if Finn plays 2 AHL years with out nhl chance then so be it. Not the end of the world. I think that's about where he is anyways (2ahl years away) |

If we want apples to apples, yes. AHL hockey is different than OHL hockey.
Look, if it makes you feel better, I'll reorder my list so Finn is #3 and Nilsson and Mac are 4 and 5. Will that work better for you?

In all honesty, the biggest thing for brother Finner will be his durability. He is barely even into his pro career and injuries seem to be somewhat the norm.
Fingers crossed that we got a good one here |
