When I was younger, I hated the Habs and Sens but when I got to university/college, you flip on the telly and the Leafs are getting spanked... so you learn to watch and enjoy other Canadian teams' games

True rivalries are fun. I think there's a measure of respect that has to be given to opposing teams to enjoy those rivalries to the fullest.

I actually don't hate Habs either. When I was a kid they were my second fave team.

What ruins the Habs for me is the Habs fans in the GTA. They seem to think it is necessary to be obnoxious Aholes about hockey. I don't get it. Maybe Leafs fans in Quebec are the same?
