So he has a bad game and gets moved to the #1 PP pairing.

This.

Kessel is great offensive player, one of the best in the league.

But if he's not scoring, he's as useless as a John Scott that cannot fight.

- Scabeh

yup.. very 1 dimensional player

The Toronto Blue Jays claimed first baseman Justin Smoak off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.

Pretty good pickup for the Jays.

- MCharisma91

Smoak and a pancake.

Exactly, I was trying to find one of the most useless player our there to emphasize how useless Kessel is when not producing offensively.
- Scabeh

Well he's not completely useless if he doesn't get points and using John Scott as an example is ridiculous.

He should play the leadership by example game - it would be easier on him in the long run.
- Woderwick

I'm close to completing a trade in my fantasy draft where I trade Anthony Duclair and Jack Johnson for Drew Doughty.

Bernier starts because....he is the "un-offical" starter for this team....whether we like it or not! He was brought here for that reason! They will always be labelled 1A/1B until A) they can find a suitable trade for Reimer, B) he stays until his contract expires or C) Reimer just breaks and throws in the towel!

It's not always the case, some players find a way to contribute with strong physical play or solid defensive play.

I just dont see it in Kessel. (unless of course his line dominated the whole game without scoring.... it happens)

When he is producing tough, one of the best out there.

Percy I can see...he played ok..but he didn't have to clear waivers and I think RC was told NO MORE 7D

Gardiner hasn't looked good at all, he's probably a good fit for the PP but it seems the worse he plays the more RC plays him.

Depends, does Smoak hit lefties and suck against righties? If that's the case, then this could be a hell of a platoon.

he's a lazy player who will start slowing down if he doesnt start taking working out seriously

i honestly would nt be shocked to see him barely getting 20 goals by the end of his contract if he doesnt change
