I think his possession numbers are some of the worst in the league.

before he hurt his wrist he was absolutely dominating the AHL, then it never healed. Took a full year and a half I guess.

he has excellent hands, and now he's used to the speed of NHL. Thing about big guys, takes them a lot longer to get used to their own size. Hell, look at Chara. He was terrible for 3-4 yrs, even early in Ottawa. Then just kept getting better as he learned to use it.
