not that I think Ashton is a good player, but I don't know how many time RC has said that Ashton needs to be put in a position to succeed in a more prominent offensive role...yet there he is, press box/4th liner.

before he hurt his wrist he was absolutely dominating the AHL, then it never healed. Took a full year and a half I guess.

he has excellent hands, and now he's used to the speed of NHL. Thing about big guys, takes them a lot longer to get used to their own size. Hell, look at Chara. He was terrible for 3-4 yrs, even early in Ottawa. Then just kept getting better as he learned to use it.
