I actually don't hate Habs either. When I was a kid they were my second fave team.

What ruins the Habs for me is the Habs fans in the GTA. They seem to think it is necessary to be obnoxious Aholes about hockey. I don't get it. Maybe Leafs fans in Quebec are the same?

Haven't come across a lot of those, to be honest.

Fans of other NHL teams are mostly former Nordiques fans who now cheer for "anyone but the habs", or decided to cheer for the Bruins or Senators.

Yeah, well, I hate the habs even when they do well.

The only thing I have noticed is that they seem to have a few OT/Shootout wins so far. That tends to even out.

Even still, they have been the best team in the east so far.

THeir PP is at 10% right now, which is absolutely pathetic, and they're also the most penalized team in the league, tied with Winnipeg.

You've been saying that. Leaf issues of the past were their failure to improve throughout the year. They seemed to start the season as good as they were going to be, then every team in the league got better as the year progressed. I think Montreal will hit a couple snags which will force them to get their act together and they'll be ready for a long playoff run. There would be no surprise from me to see them in the finals.

I'm dead serious. They work their asses off almost every game. There's few teams who do that on a consistent basis, then they have a different gear when it comes to the playoffs. Composed, talented, hard working bunch of guys who seem to "get it".
