November schedule is indeed very heavy as Jan pointed out.
Starting saturday, 15 games in 29 days. 10 of them at home.
November needs to be a great month. |

Alain Vigneault says there's been no setbacks for center Derek Stepan. AV expects Stepan to return to practice "in the next 4-to-7 days."
so doesn't really sound like he will be available for either game on the weekend
edit: actually next Monday they play at home vs St Louis, I thought it was sunday, sounds like next Monday is still possible for Stepan |

Tough to tell were the contact was. One angle looked like shoulder the other the head. The good thing was it didnt look like his head ever hit the ice. |

NHL announced no further discipline on play, head not point of contact |

That was my first thought. The 2nd angle I thought was the head. |

Canadian media is so disgusting, they sit there and try to make you think that it's a grey area, did he go through the body? did he make the head principal point of contact? yet the second it happens to a Canadian team it's outrage, that hit is sickening, his lid comes right off, that doesn't happen unless it's a head shot |

Yeah, Anisimov was always putting his helmet back on right after getting hit. Surprised he never changed seeing as he played with Sauer and saw what had happened. |

I actually thought it was a good shoulder to shoulder hit.(At least the one angle) Anisimov needs to tighten his brain bucket. |

He's been doing it since he has been in the league. How many times a year did he get blasted by a big hit when he was playing for the Rangers? Always for staring at the puck. |

If it was Kreider it would be the dirtiest hit in the game |

He's always been taking those big hits. Even as a ranger he used to get plastered. |

It's a textbook hit. This is all on anisimov. You are taught from day one on the ice to keep your head up and on a swivel. This happens to him 3-4 times a year. He's constantly getting destroyed. He skates with his head down and puts himself in bad positions. That hit is not.sickening at all. It's 100% clean and that's just hockey. |

Glad to see you are doing ok. After Kreider getting tossed & the Boys losing, I was getting worried you might be in a ditch somewhere. |
