The blurb you just quoted clearly states the offer as the criteria needed to suspend for 6+ games.
- MyBoyStepan

I understand that, I was poking fun at the rhetoric. An offer can be refused. I assume that means regardless of whether he decides to show up in person, he'll be suspended 6 or more games. First head shot, of this caliber, for the season. Im sure they'll try to make an example of it.

So Moore declined the in person hearing.. Kinda silly IMO. 5 games for sure.

Chris Pronger will look at that hit in his new role in the Department of Player Safety, and say "What? What did he do wrong? Seems like a clean hit to me." Or maybe not.

6 games to Moore, 2 games to Haula for hitting Moore's shoulder/elbow with his head

I didn't even realize you could decline?

I mean I always knew it was an offer but I felt it was more of a formality and that the players will always accept.

And I believe he's declined to attend, Kreider said he didn't have to go

Guys, I'll buy you a drink if you can guess my least favorite team in the league. It's not even close.

Btw, what a great call last night from Sam in the third. Really hate how Sam cannot call us in the playoffs ever. Would be awesome to hear him last year.

They mighty as we'll call it "Homers Breakfest" they actually put more on Mcdoangh for one play than Subban for an entire series, I hate that City and everything about it, the only reason they have so many Cups is because hockey ass backwards, would have loved to seen how that dynasty would have played out today, you wouldn't be able to draft Guy Lafluer after winning the Cup today

Kreider was skating about 30 miles an hour, Brodin put his fat ass in front of him to slow him down and almost ended up halfway up the stands because of his own attempt at obstruction.
- jimbro83

That's the truth -ideally
He gets called for obstruction. CK def
Boarded him tho -big time. Didn't have to
Do that exactly.

totally agree, 9 games in, Klein has been the best Ranger defenseman.

This does not speak well of the teams D

“That’s the way we should play here at home: Don’t be afraid, and balls out. Sorry for the language,” Zuccarello said. “But I mean that’s when we’re one of the best teams in the league, when we play like that.”

Zuuuuuccccccc!!! This guy is awesome

- tbreinold

Lol kudos to whoever helped Zucc learn English, as the term "balls out" should be inserted into, and would make every hockey players interview better

Was trying to think of the last time 2 Rangers got ejected during the same game. Was it game 2 against the Sens in 2012? I know that was the Dubinsky Gatorade throwing game, nd the same one that Hags got suspended for the elbow on Alfredsson. Did Hags get tossed from that game?

Realize I'm basically talking to myself at this point of the night..

I know there still were deficiencies apparent in the Rangers last game, but the comeback was fantastic. I know it doesn't compare to the 5-0 debacle we lost to MTL a few years ago, but it brought up the memory.

Not that I hold any grudges against Gaborik for his time spent here, but this past game did feel like a bit of revenge from Gabby's 5 goal game back in the day, if only cuz it was against Minny.

yeah, it does, but to be fair they haven't had their biggest free agent signing of the summer yet except for the first part of the first game of the season.

Without their first line center, who is extremely solid in his own zone and one of their top 4 Defensemen, the Rangers are over .500, things ain't so bad yo.

We all said that as long as they were .500 and still in the mix for the division by the time Step and Boyle get back then it would be considered a successful opening to the season. So far so good.

Speaking of Stepan...game 10 is Saturday against Winnipeg. He'd be eligible to come back game 11 on Monday against St. Louis. Not sure if he'll be ready though...doesn't sound like he's been doing much skating outside some light reps.

And 4 of the next 5 are very winnable games, if they could be 2 or 3 games over by the time Stepan and Boyle come back that would be huge, my give Step a little more time to heal

Maybe if he put some effort in his skating, he would have healed quicker and wouldn't have brittle chicken bone legs.

When Stepan comes back I think the lines should look similar to
