Allen had a bad camp but he has potential and is better than what he showed in the preseason.

Yeah, I agree, have liked the kid from last year.

Hope he gets the call and plays well. I am not really a fan of Moore's; this could be a good thing he is getting suspended.

Moore has really regressed, or maybe the better way to put it is that he has not progressed at all, despite seemingly having some fine skills.

I think when Boyle gets back we'll see Hunwick on the 3rd pair, how good has Klein been, no way can we trade him, great value for the money

Lack of progress for sure. Still makes bad decisions, takes horrendous penalties and doesn't seem to read plays well at all.

When all is right, and the team is at full strength, I think Hunwick should be the sixth defenseman. He has looked strong, in all zones, and has done nothing to be a healthy scratch when Boyle returns to the lineup and Moore is back from suspension.

Who was talking about dealing Klein? So far he has been the team's best defensemen; not even close actually at this point.

The thing with Kreider is that he doesn't do it intentionally. He's not Matt Cooke yet he puts himself in those situations sometimes and it doesn't look good. It's a split second decision and insanely hard from our perspective to say he should have let up. Now saying that maybe he should find a way not to put himself in those situations all the time. He plays hard and is a great forchecker but it seems like every few months he has a questionable hit. Makes you wonder why.

He definitely needs to learn the guidelines a little better. Kreider plays the game clean but he has to pull back the reigns sometimes, because he is strong, but he often doesn't.

the thing is that Kreider was slashed making him lose his balance to crash into Price. But, it's become like the old telephone game at this point. Now it's turned into Kreider went to Price's house and shot him at this point.

It is pretty simple to me, just stay the frank out of Kreider's way and there will be no problems

He went "skates up" to try and stab Price through his thick arse pads

totally agree, 9 games in, Klein has been the best Ranger defenseman.

Phone hearing for Moore, so no more than 5 games.

kind of shocked really.

edit:

Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie
NYR John Moore's hearing with @NHLPlayerSafety is believed to be via phone, not in person, which means suspension would be 5 games or less.

Talk about thievery by Sather. Del Zotto for a rock solid defenseman that can step up and play big minutes when needed.

Not really, was thinking he would get anywhere between five and eight games. Five games is fairly substantial for a second time offender.

In honor of the Chris Kreider incident: I'm gonna go throw myself in front of a bus, then blame the driver for hitting me.

He had to have known thought that he was going to start to slowdown to play the puck. He knew they were in that area behind the net. Like I said he's not dirty and plays the game clean and hard, but he has to tonw it down a little. Be a little smarter. He's going to develop that reputation around the league and you know once that happens he's a target.

I think Moore's hit deserves a suspension but the 8-10 games people are throwing out seem way excessive. He went to finish his check but just finished it way high. If he wasn't a repeat offender than 2 games, so with last years hit 4-5 games tops.

The bad thing for Moore is he might have just lost his job in the lineup. If whoever replaces him plays well and then Boyle returns in a few weeks I see him as a healthy scratch.
