He has been great. He deserves more ice time. The guy never takes a shift off.
He definitely deserves more ice than Umberger

- 3flyerkids

What's interesting about him his how his game is tailor made for north American hockey. And it's taken him this long to come over

on a more serious note - looking at the standings this team has got to get better at getting points off the shoot out.

Jake V was dominant again

G I think had his best game of the year

raffl was solid
emery was great
a very good team effort

the first period the flyers were amazing, best they've played all year

cooled off a bit in 2nd and 3rd but really hung tough

Awesome!
The fact that they are winning with this D is very impressive, hopefully they can keep it up.

i assume we are all fairly happy right now

except for frick breaking his 17 game goal drought, with the garbage tying marker in the 3rd, yes.

Don't laugh, either: Del Zotto led the Flyers in ice time and earned every minute -- he played a Doughty-like 26-plus

One negative: Ghost might need to head back soon. He needs to get a little stronger and have the pro game slow down for him just a little bit more

Only saw the OT, and that was absolutely a good goal btw, so, who played well? Who didn't? How'd they look overall? thanks!

Voracek is continuing his domination all over the ice. Made some real superstar plays tonight, picking up a couple more helpers to lead the league in assists. Giroux looked better than he has all season so far IMO. Couturier and his line did a fabulous job containing the hottest 'That 70's Line' in the NHL tonight. Shultz and MDZ have continued to play well - same with Emery. Bellemare played well. Simmonds is still slumping a bit and that line with Schenn continues to make questionable turnovers in the neutral zone.

they were pretty bad in the beginning, and it certainly was an off night for him just as much as it can be attributed to their own doing, but i will take lighting up schneider to the tune of an unanswered touchdown any day of the week.

What'd you guys hit them with -- they just too old and slow for the Pens?

Not a negative at all. I think he needs a few more games and I hope they give that to him. Chances are he will need to be sent back down, but a lot of his mistakes seem like nerves

Temporary reprieve. Negativity will resume again tomorrow when the ringleaders and negative drivers return.

Just jealous about buffalos performance. They are closer to a cup than we are with the tanking their doing. Macdavid or eichel will be a sabre. Book it

I just don't get the Schneider circle jerk. I mean he could be pretty decent, but people are and have been making him out to be franchise material here in the last few seasons. Just don't see that kind of potential.

But what do I know.

2-0 with Gostisbehere in the lineup.
2-0 this season when VandeVelde ends up on the scoresheet.

i think he is a pretty good goalie. however, there are a lot of pretty good ones in the league. i think i would take him over both fleury and mason.

although tonight was not his finest work

10 shots on goal tonight against that Leafs steel curtain defense. They might as well start selling the McDavid jerseys now.
