I haven't been clean shaven since 1985. No one who knows me knows what I look like without a beard and mustache. If I shaved, and bought new clothes no one would know me.

I had my beard and mustache from November to last week of April, maintained/trimmed of course, but before our last final I shaved, wore a flat brimmed hat with bacon on it with a long sleeve tight shirt with rolled up sleeves and cargo shorts and a belt....people actually had to look twice to make sure it was me. I'd yell my friends' names and they'd look around (and at me) but continue to look for me. It was hilarious.
