Lou still has what? A big mouth?

I liked Lou alot as a Canuck fan for alot of years but when the crybaby attitude started after 2012 with him and Kesler it was sayanora time. I appreciate very much what they almost accomplished there but it was time for them to move on.

Lou had basically become the second Kiprusoff of the west since 2012. Decent numbers and such but he was good for two weak goals per game and most nights it was a 3-4 GAA affair. Can't win out here in the west like that. Lou's numbers were always bloated a bit when he came over from FLA the first time as he was facing MANY shots per game in the east but still letting in 3-4 per game. The numbers get skewed a bit like that but man Lou did put put up some stellar years in Van when he was peaking. But really he did choke out quite a few games in the 2011 cup run and we were there mostly in SPITE of Lou's performance.

In the weaker east Lou's #s will get skewed again to make him look better than he actually is plain and simple. His best days are FAR behind him and if FLA gets back to the playoffs it will most likely be without Lou in goal. It's just reality.

Ya ok whatever you say, but the reality Lu has been our best player since he got here no question about it. If we make the playoffs it will be him carrying the team on his back.

And I can't see how any Canuck fan can blame Lu for losing the cup! News flash one man doesn't make a team, and remind me again how many goals did the team score in that series? Now don't get me wrong he was good and bad in that series, but you can't expect your goalie to get a shutout every god damn game.

Also just saying if this team could score more then one goal a game and not give the other team 10 power plays a night we would've won a lot of games already.

Doesn't help that we've only played in 7 freaking games. Our schedule has been stupid.

Yeah this is getting rediculous with so much time in between games. It'll be hard for a team to get into a rhythm, especially offensively.

For sure. But I take solace in the fact that the teams ahead of us have all played 2-4 more games than us and we are still doing well. At this point last season we had 1 point? 2 points? I'm happy with what we've done. We just gotta take a game like tomorrow and win, then hope for a point Saturday against the Flyers.

I agree, if they can win the next 2 it would be huge and I have a feeling that will happen. As each game is played I hope/think we will see more offense from this team, especially Barkov and Bjugs.

If Barkov and Bjugstad start picking it up offensively I really think we can be a playoff team(if we stay somewhat healthy).

That doesn't make a difference in GF. 5 other teams have played 1 more game than us. Just look at the average goals per game. If we played ten additional games we still would be at the bottom of the stats. Somebody better start putting the puck in the net soon. Like our defense and goalie a lot but you won't win too many games scoring 1 goal per game. Luongo, Campbell and Mitchell aren't spring chickens .
By the way, Bolland still out hurt. Maybe he is just injury prone.

Agreed it's about God damn time. Time to get over 500. And start scoring some goals.

I don't give a shyt how many people were there, the Panthers won and are above .500, getting points on a game to game basis. Lu looks great, keeping us in every game even when they aren't scoring and with each game they play the offense will improve. Defense looks great so when this team starts scoring and keeps winning the fans will show up.

Barkov and Pirri not practicing...

Update: Pirri out for tomorrow's game with a concussion and two are being recalled from SA Rampage. They say it's for Pirri and Bolland but could be for Barkov unless Bolland isn't getting better which wouldn't surprise me.
