I'd love McDavid, but at the same time, I love the chip that Eichel has on his shoulder because of everyone saying that McDavid is going to go #1. That added motivation can go a long way for some guys.

I won't be disappointed as long as we get 1 of them.

Ok Goosie, I could kiss you...last year for me it was Bennett. Reinhart I'm good with though!
This year...Eichel...love his compete, skating and he is USA all the way baby! I am so good if we finish last and loose the lottery! mark me down for Eichel...and I can't wait for the WJC's

Hodgson?
Stewart & Moulson too old?
There's some other quality prospects u left off that list
Larsson, Catenacci, Possler, Fasching, Bailey, Carrier, Hurley, Cornel, Karabacek

Ppl talk like we're thin at forward and that's simply not true at all
We are actually VERY DEEP
It's just a matter of whether or not any develop into true top line talent

There are also going to be some other veterans (if not Moulson or Stewart) besides Nichuskin in there somewhere as well. Rarely is a team full of draft picks 1 through 12.

Those guys are going to be in fierce competition for the next several years. The lower prospects in that pool will be dropped like flies once next years draft with 3 firsts happens(and not sure how many seconds). Hopefully if they trade away unusable players into more future picks.

Some of those guys will be packaged together. You can only have 50 guys under contract. So at some point, there just isn't enough room in the organization for them. Murray has already mentioned that the quantity will need to be flipped for quality.

Kea too.
I'm not sold on some of the current players like Staff, Stewert, Hodgson, Ennis, Foligno, and maybe a couple more... BUT I do see them as chips of varying value that can be used to acquire other talent in the future.
Personally, this year is to find out about bubble players, and dish those who don't figure into the future...then build from the ground up starting at the trade deadline.
I know that many like Ennis, me too!...just can't see him here when you really consider future Centers of McEichel, Reinhardt, Grigo, Girgs, Larson, Comphere, Kea.
That's my story and I'm damn sure sticking to it!

Ennis could turn into the leader by action type player. Spec if he continues the way he has this season.

I know Cabby and do agree. I like him alot, I do.
For whatever reason, I see him has a chip for the future. I'd be ok with him here..but always will be wondering what we could have received in a trade for him...especially in a package deal. Could he be the chip to push us over the top?

As of right now,
We have over double the amount of forwards we can roster as part of our future
Some just won't work out, that's the way it goes
Others prob will be packaged for high end talent IF Murray can find someone willing to give it up
We might even have to cut some guys loose prematurely that end up going on to nice careers elsewhere
Point is...
We are actually STACKED up front
And it's not a bad problem to have

Half these players that play for the Amerks that everyone keeps talking about are nothing but career AHL players.

Half?
Of course not everyone will work out as projected...
But like I previously stated,
We have 20+ guys that are rated as top9 or better
So even if half don't work out (which is a really crappy percentage)... We'd still be in pretty good shape
