I think it had something to do with that. Plus the fact that the NHL has development leagues that guys can go to to work on stuff as well. It also mentioned something about the fewer positions that are in hockey and the fact that hockey teams draft less based on need and more with a best available mentality as well.

Ullmark in the 6th could be a good pick as well. Or an undrafted guy like Makarov.
