That was fugly. Habs need to simplify a bit and maybe get someone out front more often lost track of the number of times Pacs, DD and Gal were behind the net looking at each other. They either need to leave Beaulieu, he looked hesitant and rusty, in or send him down, yanking him and Tinordi around doesn't do anyone a service.

Yeah, Tinordi was brutal in preseason but he looks better and better each game.

And they're gonna need him tonight.

They better be ready for the Flames because that game has the potential to be very, very ugly. They're an hungry bunch getting great goaltending from Hiller.

How many chances is Bourque going to get before MT puts Bournival or Sekac in?

Also nice dive by Hall

I expect to see both Sekac and Bournival tonight instead of Weise and Bourque/Moen.

I don't see weise getting yanked. Moen & Bourque hopefully

MT will probably leave Bourque in against his former team, hoping for a spark.....

The Wild folded like a cheap tent.

But that's what you get when you assemble what may be the softest forwards groupe in the league.

They just stopped playing completely. It was strange.

That's what I kept repeating to myself every time I saw the Wild attempt a forecheck. They were easily pokechecked or knocked off the puck. The goals they did score were the result of defensive blunders on NYR.

That said, the Rangers really started skating in the 3rd.

They played dumb for most of the game and were just balls-out in the 3rd period. The wild had no answer once or ever.

They left after the second period.

I think Kreider wants to play with an edge but definitely crosses the line too much due to the speed and strength he plays the game with. Not intentional but it's happening often enough that he has to reevaluate his game a bit.

Moore's hit was a carbon copy of his cheapshot on Weise in the playoffs. Dumb hit. Could be 8-10 games.

True hockey fans know a game is never over until the final whistle. Now I know what it must've felt like when you guys had that crazy 3rd period comeback against us a few years ago.

That one was crazier than this, but this was pretty close. A huge push that the Wild just couldn't contain.

The Kreider hit didn't look too bad to me at first glance. But the replay showed he hit the player while he was in a vulnerable position. My guess is he gets 2 games max.

The Moore hit was exactly like the one on Weise, I agree. They even showed it on the broadcast. He'll get 5-7.

The difference between Moore and Kreider?

Kreider is sneaky/dirty.

Moore is just plain stupid.
