Martin for Marchand
- dbell646

If Marchand wasn't signed for 4 years, something like this might happen. You have to be afraid of any trade with a division rival like that.

Sidenote, omg, as much as I make fun of that nose, that face, I'm not sure I could look at him in a Pens uniform. I guess we did have Kennedy for a number of years

I think JR's health might be the best guess, players all skated, and like it was said, only a couple players merit a GM/Dr. press conference.

I just hope whoever it is, it's nothing serious.

Its probaby about concussion protocol or something to that affect.

I bet on the Pens website, they normally have a stream.

That's what I was betting on, just want to be 100%. The anticipation sucks! Never a good thing when the doc is in front of the mic.

He is a bottom six body right now. I expected 4th line play and I think that's what we are seeing.

If the Penguins don't retain MAF, will you be changing your username?

Best question of the day lol I for one traded my username from Orpik44 to Barnaby36 after he left.

Downie has been just OK. I won't lie I was expecting some offensive production out of him.

Good signing... Maybe expected a little more of a scoring touch, but he's been fine. Works well protecting puck along the boards.

He has added a little snarl that has been missing, and has timed that part of his game very well.

It's tough to say. The bottom 6 is better than last year, they aren't getting circles skated around them in their own zone. The majority of the PTS are on the PP so far, so the top 6 isn't doing much at ES either. I don't have a good read on this Pens team yet, half the games they look great, the other half not sure if they will make the playoffs.

Thanks for the context Gunner. I think defensive pairings have evolved to where coaching can best utilize skills and match them up accordingly. The current pairing work for me. Not sure how Bortuzzo works in to the third line.

F Sutter

My friend knows a trainer on the Pens. It's amazing news. Rick Tocchet has agreed to transplant his brain in to the body of Sutter. They are hoping this will make him a more aggressive, net crashing scorer. It is risky but the team and management feel it is worth the risk!

This isn't good. I hope he can make a 100% healthy recovery from this. Praying it's not cancer. Health first hockey second.
