Big night last night . 130pts to take the win. only had 360.

My final was 366.5 to 281. Bad week for me points wise, but I still won, so no big deal.

I still don't think the Bills have a long-term capable starting quarterback on this roster, but Kyle Orton is essentially saving Whaley's and Marrone's jobs. Despite his shortcomings, he's putting Watkins in positions to make plays, and Watkins is delivering in spades.

Sammy now leads all Rookies in Yards receiving and tied Benjamin for TDs (also the leaders).

Jerry Sullivan @TBNSully

Watkins has 21 catches for 393 yards in 4 games with Kyle Orton. He had 17 for 197 yards, half as many, in 4 games with EJ Manuel at QB.

I feel like he's been a very bright spot on offense. Without him we are probably 2-6 even with our great def. I was one of the people on the fence when they traded all they did to get him. But now I'm sold the guys playing lights out and well on his way to stardom.

Just think, if they had actually involved Watkins in the New England game, he could be ahead of Benjamin.

He could be leading the league if Orton started the year.

Maybe. Maybe not. People seem to forget that Orton was signed just before the season. Take into consideration factors like rust, lack of practice time, familiarity with the offense, etc., and the production could conceivably been worse. Manuel did play okay the first two weeks of the season, when the rest of the team was firing on all cylinders as well.

Hmm he left with Carol. Bet it's the black man that saved Rick in the first episode.

Watkins is just that good. Imagine if in the Houston game they would have made an effort to get him the ball. His price was very high to get him but IF they can get a decent QB to get him the ball consistently he is going to be one of the leagues best his entire career.

I have to say on the Orton front if he can do a better job protecting the football like he did yesterday he can make all the throws that are asked of him, plus he is pretty smart. I noticed a screen pass to Boobie I think it was and he would have gotten lit up and Orton smartly threw it at the ground at Boobie's feet. It saved him from getting blown up.

That was a very smart play to throw that away, something ej wouldn't have done, Ej threw that pass to his guys countless times.

How much of that is gameplanning, and how much of that is the quarterback simply not getting the ball to him, though? Watkins really is just that good, but you still have to get the ball in a place where he can get it.

Well for example the Pats game Marrone said they were using him as a decoy...

If you noticed the sign was overgrown (as if it was months after Terminus) when he was reintroduced.

My guess is he won't be involved until the second half of of the season.

Read an article that had a comment from Greg Nicotero that hinted it will be some time before we see him.
