I'm as tired watching Boobie up the middle for 2 yards as everybody else, but dont you think Hackett knows what you're trying to explain? Of course he does.

This was the type of game where we didnt need to take chances. We still won by 20 points playing conservative on O.

As Brad Pitt aka Billy Beane said in Moneyball "when you're enemy is making mistakes, don't interrupt them"

- Homer

My biggest problem was not cashing in on golden opportunities . This game could have been put to bed in the second quarter . And some valuable starters could have taken a few less hits and second stringers could have gotten some valuable experience . At the end of the first half there was definitely a momentum swing that could have been avoided. I'm happy we won . These were just observations while the game was in doubt.

Isn't he an NHL ready young player? He's only 24. And will be in his prime when this team is in the position to make a good run.

They should trade Myers for a tall, offensively gifted defensemen who skates well

Maybe since this team can't score NHL ready young forward/s with offensive skill who can finish?
- GilPerreault11

They are coming . When we are ready to compete for real . We will have lots of finishers.

There was no reason this game shouldn't have been over by halftime

I wouldn't call him offensively gifted. Offensively gifted can dominate a game on their own, make others better, lead a PP. Offensively talented? Sure.

Fine , I will take that with all his other attributes . He is becoming a very well rounded player . Even getting a bit of a snarl to his game.

I wouldn't be surprised if he looked better on a better team.....offensively, that is. Having guys you can pass to and then get the pass back from is a big help in this league.

...like Ekblad
Hahaha, I had to say it

Seriously though
Myers is fine (at least), and will probably be good (but not great)
I still haven't changed my opinion that he'll never be a "shut down" defenseman though
Not that I want him traded, but I would listen to offers...
He's still young
And on a bad team
He's gaining consistency IMO
I don't see him as a future Norris trophy winner though either

The only opinion that really matters though is Murray
So we're jut gonna have to wait & see how this all plays out

If he is traded,
It will likely be for a lot

If he's not,
He should be a good two-way 2nd pair guy for us when we win the cup in 5yrs

Got my first win finally. Best player of the week for me was a 3-gamer (Perry).

I think this pretty much tells us that Murray doesn't want Myers on the future team(if u believe dreger that is).

Edit: Didn't realize it was date oct 21st so im not sure if anyone's posted this already, but it is a bit concerning

"Too much" for Detroit and too underwhelming for me. Win-win.

I had heard a few times on/and just after draft day that Murray liked Larkin so it's no surprise he's pushing hard for him but the value seems way off here. We take back a bad contract just to get a guy who could be a top 6 forward? I get the drooling over Mantha, but not Larkin.

I think it's one of two things. Either this report is false, or we all are completely overestimating what Tyler Myers' value on the market really is. I hope it's the former.

Good, that's not enough for buffalo IMO. Maybe I'm overvaluing Myers but I would think another team would offer better prospects for him.

Dreger has slipped in credibility over the past few years so it's entirely possible it's inaccurate.

I still don't think the Bills have a long-term capable starting quarterback on this roster, but Kyle Orton is essentially saving Whaley's and Marrone's jobs. Despite his shortcomings, he's putting Watkins in positions to make plays, and Watkins is delivering in spades.
