Brayden Schenn is big? 6'1 190?

What does that make RNH (6'0 190)?

Just a few points:

- Just because you haven't heard of Murphy doesn't make him bad. He is a first round pick, son of a former NHL, he has mobility, speed, a great shot and is - as a rookie - already a decent 2 way player.

He also happens to have massive offensive upside and is 6' 3".

- If you read Eklunds current post, it seems that I may have accurately projected a couple of trade proposals here since teams are apparently asking a first and a roster player for 3rd pairing NHL dmen. Murphy is potentially a top pairing player. He's already a decent second pairing guy.

- At least I admit I am just playing around and having fun. It's amazing to me how many of you guys know exactly what your GMs are thinking and exactly what they would or wouldn't do.

- Thanks for the hot spelling tip. Nothing ruins my day worse than knowing I misspelled the name of a player who realistically was probably 14 before he himself could spell it.

Gotta go watch hockey - love you all.

Wow....you post a blog with blatant spelling mistakes, and you respond with sarcasm......nice job.

Hextall has been very open about his plans, and how he will handle prospects and picks. That is where we are quoting the gm.

Just because your prospect lloks good, and has a big upside, doesn't mean he is a fit with 5 dmen in the system ready to burst out. The trade proposal does nothing to address the current rash of injuries, and gives the Flyers more depth in a position they are strong in: young dmen with potential, and weakens the forward lines.

Your proposal, sir, was robbing the Flyers. It would make no sense for the Flyers to trade away a forward for a dman prospect.
Here's how a trade works...2 teams have needs. GM's talk to each other about their needs, and see if there is a match...if so, they proceed to make the trades. This is no match for the Flyers.

Oh...and hanging your hat on Eklund posting "rumors" as validation of your knowledge.......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Everyone knows Eklund has a magic wheel he spins and if a name is stopped on, then they are trade candidates.

If anything...seeing your "proposals" backed up by Eklund just shows how ridiculous they are.
