Funny thing is, Adams has only been on the ice for one goal against so far this year, and that was on the power play.
People have a problem with him being Craig Adams, but he's done a very good job of being Craig Adams. - hardnosed

ill take the young legs and a guy who can develop into the role versus the guy who is past his prime.
the difference between bennett and dupuis is marginal, if even that. - SuperHenderson13
I think its more than marginal. Not even comparable IMO. |

Yeah, they played a solid game, that's for sure. Much better defensively for a full sixty minutes! Plus two PP goals in the third. PP does not miss Neil like everyone thought it would. - powerhouse
I don't see how anyone who has watched Horny over these first few games would even trade him straight up for Neal.
He bangs. Goes to the net. Hell, he even is throwing his body in front of Shea Weber slapshots. The very same thing we were praising Tanner Glass for doing.
That drive to the next he did yesterday was a thing of beauty. That's a playoff type of move. No BS...straight line to the net. We need more of that.
I'm loving him even more than I thought I would |

BB will not be as good a hockey player as 9 by the end of this season. People keep saying young young young. Its about right now, and right now Duper is a better hockey player. BB will be a good 3rd liner for a week though. - Grinder47
Agree with you 100%. Duper keeps this up for 82, he'll prove me wrong. |

I loved him from day one. He has the coolest name on our team: Hörnqvist.
Bring Sündqvist and trade for Nyqvist and we'll reach our quota of cool names. |

Amen. Neal, much like Sutter, will suffer a bit without Geno.
Btw, Geno is awessome. Don't ever wanna hear stupid trade proposals with his name again. |

I really like Hornqvist so far and I think he is a better fit for what the Pens need. But I'm not going to bash Neal, he is a really valuable hockey player and would have been great if we could have just reeled him in to focus on hockey. That shot is a thing of beauty. It was weird seeing him as the 'star' last night.
At any rate, I think the deal worked out much better than I thought it would on draft day. Glad the trade worked out for both sides. |

Big surprise Pens get a PPG with Neal in the box.
Good job by MAF but he wasn't challenged that much, good team effort. Crosby was on fire. |
