Conacher does seem like the likely guy to get scratched when Bailey comes back though. Lee already has made an impact and scratching the fourth line guys doesn't seem like it really makes much of an improvement to the team. - eichiefs9
I could also see Martin sitting here or there against smaller faster teams if he don't get his shat together |

When Cappy was asked why Viz was on the top PP over Boychuk he said that Viz had that spot before he got hurt so therefore he felt he should at least get a chance to keep it. |

I don't think they're going to sit him. I wish they would, but I don't think they will.
Lighthouse Hockey looked at the numbers and the Islanders have the 2nd most deployed fourth line in the league. Last year we were #1 in that category.
That's a major Capuano issue. Cizikas has earned it but Martin has been generally awful and Clutterbuck has been slightly better but still generally unimpressive. I could live with a fourth line of Cizikas Clutterbuck and someone else having an increased role but Martin is just so slow and terrible. |

Martin keeps playing like this he'll be sitting unless they make a trade to get rid of a forward. He has been pretty much terrible outside one or two games |

Like I said I don't disagree with you one bit. I just get the feeling that he's a fan favorite and blah blah blah.... (fart noise) |

We're 6-2 and I'm not going to complain too much but I think he's only holding this team back from further potential.
Coaching seems to be the last real hurdle that this team has to overcome. |

If they don't make a trade and Bailey & Grabner comes back who else sits besides Conacher? Don't think they'll send Lee back if he keeps playing the way he usually does |

It's gonna be interesting. Maybe it's not ideal but Grabner playing with Cizikas could wreak havoc on other teams as an energy line.
I really have no idea. The pessimist Isles fan in me says Lee gets sent down because he won't have to clear waivers. Although, depending on when Grabs is ready to go, Lee may no longer be waiver-exempt.
I guess we just have to hurry up and wait. In the meantime, at least we can enjoy the ride |

That is so ridiculous if that's true. But, I'm not surprised that Capuano said that. It's that same mentality that gave Colin McDonald the look instead of calling up anders lee.
This isn't house league. Not every kid gets to play. |
