We already have 3 picks in the 1st round. Enough is enough. We don't need anymore draft picks. WE NEED already established NHL players with high upside. You can't have a team that's full of rookies and 1-2 year pros.

they need to find some young players with upside

briere, turris come to mind when they were moved from the yotes

they could move half of the team, and I will be fine with that

players like mitchell, weber, staff are not part of the solution moving forward and I would like to see them moved asap

Why? The stadium is a lot more full for all the games (percentage wise) than the Bills in Toronto series is.

Im willing to bet a lot of those tickets were given away, my friend picked up a pair from his job and gave them away. Most of the fans there are just americans who have relocated.

The worst part is the timing, 4th quarter smack dab in the middle of one of the biggest BPL games of the year, that features a london based team.

I get that it's making them money but it's lost the appeal it once had when they first started it.

I don't disagree. I'm saying we should be done with getting just draft picks for players. I don't wanna trade ennis for a 1st rounder in the late 20's. That does nothing for us IMO

im going out on a limb here but most people who love soccer hate football and those who love football hate soccer so i dont the timing has a huge effect. The stadium was packed no doubt it, they were there to watch what they wanted to watch, otherwise they would have stayed home.

Common misconception. Lot's of soccer fans who like football here, but if they had to choose between the two, they'll pick Chelsea vs Manchester United. Like I said, Im willing to bet a decent amount of those tickets were given away, I had two separate offers to go, but couldn't care less about the two teams they brought over and there was big soccer match on. Im sure there were others in the same boat.

At the very least, they should change the day they do these games on.

yes, ill agree with you there because i do think they should be on a different day. The london games should be on monday night due to the jet lag/traveling handicap, to get an extra day to prepare. But i guess both teams are equally handicapped whichever day its on.

I'm watching the feed of the Bills game on CTV so maybe the Canadian airwaves are playing tricks on me, but did I just see Kyle Orton make a play in the first quarter?

Aren't the jets a really bad team though?

Agreed that can't have a full roster of rookies...but if you can be assured of getting the elite talent in what is purported to be a deep draft...especially at the high end. So, this word seem to be the ideal time and way to land a couple of elite talents for the long haul. You certainly aren't going to trade for them or pick them up in FA. So, IMO Ennis will be a surplus player in another year or 2 and he could garner good interest around the league. Sabres can balance the youth with serviceable talent via FA.

Carolina is projected to be in the "late 20's"?
You do know where they are now right? That was the premises of my trade idea...and they need centers..go back and read.my initial post on it.
