Nashville is first in the Central, Calgary is third in the Pacific…lets give it some time here. I think they need to make some changes from the early games that I've seen, but easier said than done.

I apologize for losing us the game last night. Seemed like the more adult beverages I consumed, the more goals the Avs scored.

That makes 2 of us thankfully the 3rd period is quite foggy for me this morning.

I ended up missing the third period both physically and mentally, but I woke up to see Kass got me 12 PIMs last night he get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty?

A few goaltenders have signed deals under the new set of rules/currrent cap. Goalies who's signed in 2013 onward. He's gonna give you Crawford or Lehtonen type goaltending, so his cap hit is definitely not out there in my opinion.

Lundqvist - cap hit $8.5 million
Rask - cap hit $7.0 million
Crawford - cap hit $6.0 million
Miller - cap hit $6.0 million
Lehtonen - cap hit $5.9 million
Varlomov - cap hit $5.9 million
Quick - $5.8 million

I'd rather have Schneider

The only issue was that we were the only team Miller would go to. I think they should have done 2 years at 6m or 3 at 5m.

Yup hard to argue that, Benning perhaps gave him too much money for a three year term.

Keep it real, that train left the building a few years ago and he has some issues as well for $6 million a year. .907 Sv%

I would have been happier giving Miller $10m for one year...

One loss on a back to back in Denver of all cities and we're revisiting everything.

I'm looking forward to finally getting a good look at our team during this week's homestand.

Is that a job? What the hell am I thinking, I'll just go out tonight and start watching hockey, hopefully money will end up in my bank.

If Iginla really wanted to win, he would have stayed in Boston, for less money so their cap worked. Colorado isn't going to make the playoffs this year.

Way too many beers at this point

To be fair that all most at CBC or sportsnet do watch hockey for a living and most of them are garbage

But that wasn't my point

Avs looked like a playoff team last night

I know. I think bubble team is still quite ambitious. They most likely won't make the play offs but at least this product is so much more watchable compared to last season's abortion.

Last night was a little hard to watch because they played so so poorly, but overall this is a much more entertaining team.

Sbisa and Matthies have been dead weight. When you lack the top flight depth that we do, you can't really have too many passengers.

Horvat has to be in for Matthias when he returns(assuming no injuries to other forwards).

Sbisa is just flat out bad, I like his physicality and skating for his size(I'm guessing that's why a few teams liked him and he was drafted high) but a guy like Stanton is 10x better when it comes hockey sense, positioning and handling the puck.
