Somehow Nucker has four of the best five forwards on the planet, I say it's totally rigged.

There were definately some trades last year that most people wouldn't have made.... even if just to not give one guy the top 5 players

I think that's the problem when poolies are allowed to police themselves. Originally, it was Fosco that poolies could appeal to in the event there was a very one-sided trade. However, there were people who felt that we should let whatever trade proposals through without any sort of veto process. So I guess what I'm saying is, you can't please everyone

I'm assuming most of the comments about the game being discussed happened last night, but I figured I'd chime in on a few positives...

- nice bounce-back game for the Bonino line... secondary offence was a big concern of mine heading into the seasons, and it was good to see it basically decide this game
- also a nice bounce-back game for Miller, exorcising his St. Louis ghosts and not allowing the Dallas game to shake him
- Edler and Tanev have been rather quietly effective... and averaged over 5min each last night on the penalty kill

If nothing else, it's good to see a win against a non-draft lottery team... though Calgary looks more and more like a team that's going to be tough to play against all year, and St. Louis is one of several team that seems to be crapping the bed early in the season.

Hey Kawk, you forgot to mention Bieksa who had to bounce back a hell of a lot more than Edler... and he did just that.

It was probably Nucker who locked me out of the account I had. I was consitantly top 2... maybe I stood in the way of his Free Mason hockey pool domination....

Don't you know, Nucker sacrifices chickens at midnight during a fool moon (his) and paints his snout with chicken gizzards whilst chanting voodo-esque curses (oh, and he also has an imaginary friend called "Evil Nucker" who helps him to pick his roster (and also devirginizes any women with any sort of resemblance to Kesler )

I'll have to give it a go. I remember coming home one night when I was still a kid, tripping on Schrooms and watching Donnie Darko on TV. I had never heard of it before, it just happened to be on. Weird weird night.
- CubanBuffet

Donnie Darko is a classic. And the director's cut takes it up a notch. Strangely enough, and not because it is Gylenhaal, but Enemy has a similar feel to Darko.
