Only new out of Boston is Chara's injury is the PCL. Nothing on Hamilton. Who goes nowhere after this season btw. - glove_was_stuck
I was talking about Petry's impending UFA status btw. |

Trading Chara would have done wonders for the Bruins both in the long-term and short-term. |

Every opposition forward in their division would be pretty happy for sure. |

That's such a misconception now. Chara used to be that type of defender, but now he is barely mobile enough to cover his zone. This might seem like such a hindsight argument, but I proposed it before the season even started when the Bruins were having cap problems signing Reilly and Krug. |

When the rules change in the playoffs, he's still not the guy I'd want my top forwards playing against. I'd rather play against Seidenberg over a 7 games series(nothing against him). |

Well we all know why the Canucks won't like to end up playing the Bruins in any game that means a thing Not that it will happen again any time soon. |

Where's Tanner's opinion? Was looking forward to him mentioning a Yandle for Bergeron.... or Krejci swap |

It's amazing what being in salary cap hell would do to you. We got boychuk for a couple of second round picks. Don't get me wrong that's a DECENT deal that Boston got at the time. Looking at it now, with how boychuk has played, Boston would have to pay an arm and a leg to get him back. I'm actually curious what the return would be. Boston is still kinda in cap trouble, so a roster player would have to come back. Not to mention with chara out, the 2nd rounders would have to be upgraded. At least one would have to be a 1st rounder. I've always been wary of snow, but he had a phenomenal off season |
