As far as Malkin being unhappy and wanting out, per Mark Madden. Didn't Madden insist James Neal wanted traded and now Neal insists he did not want traded. I realize neither are very credible, but if this turns out to be true then that would put a little bit of credibility to Madden (Albeit not much).

That was a good read... Sometimes in sports it's hard to separate emotion from logic, and while I really like MAF, and really want him to succeed, there is just no way that I'd want him extended at the price it's going to take.

Well, no team fresh off of an ECF run would do that to their team in-season, anyway. Now, you may be able to rape a team like Buffalo. Something like Myers/Zadarov/Hodgson/2016 1st or something. He's a billboard name for them, and gives them a still somewhat young elite center to lead them in 3-4 years.

Crosby takes a selfish penalty late in the game for the third time this season and no backlash? Yet Malkin produces and he is lazy? His line controlled the game everytime they had the puck, while Crosby's line fumbled around like it was their rookie season.

Crosby got out played two games in a row now and needs to step up.

I'm glad im not the only one growing frustrated with Crosby. He's become such a crybaby. I hate saying that. He is the best player in the game, but the Pens will never advance to where they want to be until he learns how to stop whining to the official and taking a stupid penalty when the refs dont call something. Its the NHL, the refs are lousy, we all know that. Somehow, Crosby expects them to get every call right and doesnt know how to act when they dont. You'd like to think Mario could set him straight on this one.
